Genesis 19:2

And he said, “See here, my lords, please turn aside and come into your servant’s house, and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may get up early and go on your way.” But they said, “No, we shall spend the night in the open plaza [of the city].”

And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

And he said, “Now behold, my lords, please turn aside into your servant’s house, and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.” They said however, “No, but we shall spend the night in the square.”

“My lords,” he said, “please come to my house. You can wash your feet and spend the night there. Then you can go on your way early in the morning.”“No,” they answered. “We’ll spend the night in the town square.”

“My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.”“No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”

“My lords,” he said, “come to my home to wash your feet, and be my guests for the night. You may then get up early in the morning and be on your way again.”“Oh no,” they replied. “We’ll just spend the night out here in the city square.”

وَقَالَ: «يَا سَيِّدَيَّ، انْزِلا فِي بَيْتِ عَبْدِكُمَا لِتَقْضِيَا لَيْلَتَكُمَا، وَاغْسِلا أَرْجُلَكُمَا، وَفِي الصَّبَاحِ الْبَاكِرِ تَمْضِيَانِ فِي طَرِيقِكُمَا». لَكِنَّهُمَا قَالا: «لا، بَلْ نَمْكُثُ اللَّيْلَةَ فِي السَّاحَةِ».

„Mine herrer,” sagde han, „kom hjem til mig og få vasket støvet af jeres fødder. I skal være mine gæster, og i morgen tidlig kan I så begive jer videre på rejsen.” „Nej tak,” svarede de. „Vi vil hellere tilbringe natten her på torvet.”

Il leur dit : S’il vous plaît, mes seigneurs, acceptez de faire un détour et de venir loger dans la maison de votre serviteur. Vous pourrez vous y laver les pieds, et vous y passerez la nuit, avant de poursuivre votre route.– Non, lui répondirent-ils, nous passerons la nuit sur la place.

“Kon mahimo hapit anay kamo sa akon balay. Makapanghinaw kamo didto sang inyo mga tiil kag makatulog karon nga gab-i. Kag buwas sa kaagahon makapadayon kamo sa inyo pagpanglakaton.” Pero nagsabat sila, “Indi lang, didto lang kami matulog sa plasa karon nga gab-i.”
