Genesis 18:31

And he said, “Now behold, I have decided to speak to the Lord [again]. Suppose [only] twenty [righteous people] are found there?” And the Lord said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the twenty.”

And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.

He pushed on, “I know I’m trying your patience, Master, but how about for twenty?”“I won’t destroy it for twenty.”

And he said, “Now behold, I have [y]ventured to speak to the Lord; suppose twenty are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the twenty.”

Abraham said, “I have been very bold to speak to the Lord. What if only 20 can be found there?”He said, “If I find 20, I will not destroy it.”

Abraham said, “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?”He said, “For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.”

Abraham said, ‘Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?’He said, ‘For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.’

Then Abraham said, “Since I have dared to speak to the Lord, let me continue—suppose there are only twenty?”And the Lord replied, “Then I will not destroy it for the sake of the twenty.”

وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ: «هَا أَنَا قَدِ اسْتَرْسَلْتُ فِي الْكَلامِ أَمَامَ الْمَوْلَى، فَمَاذَا لَوْ وَجَدْتَ هُنَاكَ عِشْرِينَ بَارّاً؟» فَقَالَ: «لا أُهْلِكُهَا مِنْ أَجْلِ الْعِشْرِينَ».

„Siden jeg har taget mig den frihed at tale til min Herre,” fortsatte Abraham, „tillad mig da at spørge nok en gang: Hvad nu, hvis der kun er 20?” „Så vil jeg for disse 20 retsindiges skyld skåne byen.”

Nagsiling pa gid liwat si Abraham, “Ginoo, patawara ako sa akon kaisog sa padayon nga pagpakighambal sa imo. Abi kon may 20 lang ka tawo nga matarong?” Nagsabat ang Ginoo, “Indi ko gihapon paglaglagon ang banwa kon may 20 nga matarong.”

「許されるなら、もう少し続けさせてください。もし二十人だけでしたら？」「よろしい。その二十人のために滅ぼさない。」

Abraão não desistiu ainda de orar a favor dos retos: “Já que tenho ido tão longe na minha ousadia, vou continuar: Se lá estiverem só 20 deles?”“Mesmo que sejam 20”, disse Deus, “não destruirei a cidade por causa desses 20.”

Då sa Abraham: ”Eftersom jag har vågat tala till Herren, vad om det bara finns tjugo?” Han svarade: ”Då ska jag inte förgöra den, för dessa tjugos skull.”

อับราฮัมทูลว่า “ในเมื่อข้าพระองค์ก็กล้าอาจเอื้อมกราบทูลองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าไปแล้ว หากพบเพียงยี่สิบคนเท่านั้นเล่า?”พระองค์ตรัสว่า “เพื่อเห็นแก่ยี่สิบคน เราจะไม่ทำลายเมืองนั้น”

亚伯拉罕说：“我大胆再问一次，倘若在那里只找到二十个义人呢？”耶和华说：“为了那二十个人的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”

亞伯拉罕說：「我大膽再問一次，倘若在那裡只找到二十個義人呢？」耶和華說：「為了那二十個人的緣故，我也不會毀滅那城。」
