Genesis 18:29

Abraham spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose [only] forty are found there.” And He said, “I will not do it for the sake of the forty [who are righteous].”

And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake.

Abraham spoke up again, “What if you only find forty?”“Neither will I destroy it if for forty.”

He spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose forty are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it on account of the forty.”

Once again Abraham spoke to him. He asked, “What if only 40 are found there?”He said, “If there are 40, I will not do it.”

Once again he spoke to him, “What if only forty are found there?”He said, “For the sake of forty, I will not do it.”

Once again he spoke to him, ‘What if only forty are found there?’He said, ‘For the sake of forty, I will not do it.’

Then Abraham pressed his request further. “Suppose there are only forty?”And the Lord replied, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the forty.”

فَخَاطَبَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ثَانِيَةً: «وَمَاذَا لَوْ وُجِدَ هُنَاكَ أَرْبَعُونَ بَارّاً فَقَطْ؟». فَأَجَابَهُ: «لا أُهْلِكُهَا مِنْ أَجْلِ الأَرْبَعِينَ».

„Hvad nu, hvis der kun er 40?” „Nej, heller ikke, hvis der er 40.”

Abraham tastete sich noch weiter vor: »Und wenn es nur vierzig sind?« Gott versprach: »Auch dann vernichte ich die Stadt nicht.«

Pero Abraham insistió:―Tal vez se encuentren solo cuarenta.―Por esos cuarenta justos, no destruiré la ciudad —respondió el Señor.

Abraham reprit à nouveau la parole et dit : Peut-être ne s’y trouvera-t-il que quarante justes ?Et Dieu dit : A cause de ces quarante, je ne la détruirai pas.

Nagsiling liwat si Abraham, “Ti, kon 40 lang abi ang matarong?” Nagsabat ang Ginoo, “Indi ko paglaglagon ang banwa kon may 40 nga matarong.”

「では、四十人しかいなかったら？」「四十人でも。」

“만일 거기서 40명을 찾으시면 어떻게 하시겠습니까?” “내가 그 40명을 생각해서 그 성을 멸망시키지 않겠다.”

Abraham vervolgde: ‘En als het er maar veertig zijn?’ God antwoordde: ‘Ik zal de stad niet vernietigen als Ik er veertig vind.’

“E se encontrares apenas quarenta?”, insistiu Abraão.Ele respondeu: “Por amor aos quarenta não a destruirei”.

Mas Abraão quis ir mais longe ainda no seu pedido: “E se forem só 40?”Deus disse-lhe de novo: “Também não destruirei a cidade se forem só 40.”

– Poate vor fi găsiţi numai patruzeci, a adăugat din nou Avraam.– De dragul celor patruzeci, nu o voi distruge, i-a răspuns El.

Ибрахим обратился к Нему ещё раз:– Что, если там найдутся лишь сорок?Вечный ответил:– Ради сорока Я не сделаю этого.

Då gick Abraham ännu längre och sa: ”Tänk om det bara finns fyrtio?” Han svarade: ”Jag ska inte göra det, om det finns fyrtio.”

อับราฮัมจึงทูลอีกว่า “หากพบเพียงสี่สิบคนเล่าพระเจ้าข้า?”พระองค์ตรัสว่า “เพื่อเห็นแก่สี่สิบคนนั้น เราจะไม่ทำลายเมืองนั้น”

亚伯拉罕又说：“倘若在那里找到四十个义人呢？”耶和华说：“为了那四十个人的缘故，我不会毁灭那城。”

亚 伯 拉 罕 又 对 他 说 ： 假 若 在 那 里 见 有 四 十 个 怎 麽 样 呢 ？ 他 说 ： 为 这 四 十 个 的 缘 故 ， 我 也 不 作 这 事 。

亞伯拉罕又說：「倘若在那裡找到四十個義人呢？」耶和華說：「為了那四十個人的緣故，我不會毀滅那城。」
