Genesis 13:10

So Lot looked and saw that the valley of the Jordan was well watered everywhere—this was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah; [it was all] like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as you go to Zoar [at the south end of the Dead Sea].

And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.

Da Lot spejdede ud over landet, lagde han mærke til Jordandalens frugtbare slette, der strakte sig helt til Zoar. Det var før Sodoma og Gomorra blev ødelagt, og området var endnu frodigt som Edens have og Egyptens land.

Lot observou então com atenção a bela e fértil planície do Jordão, bem regada que era, antes do Senhor ter destruído Sodoma e Gomorra. Toda aquela região era tão fértil que parecia o próprio jardim do Senhor ou a bela zona de Zoar, quando se entra no Egito.

Lot såg ut över Jordanslätten, som var väl bevattnad överallt. Hela området ända bort till Soar var som Herrens trädgård eller som Egyptens land. Detta var innan Herren hade förstört Sodom och Gomorra.

罗得举目眺望，看见整个约旦河平原，远至琐珥，水源充足。在耶和华还没有毁灭所多玛和蛾摩拉之前，那地方就好像耶和华的伊甸园，又像埃及。

羅得舉目眺望，看見整個約旦河平原，遠至瑣珥，水源充足。在耶和華還沒有毀滅所多瑪和蛾摩拉之前，那地方就好像耶和華的伊甸園，又像埃及。
