Ezekiel 7:23

‘Prepare the chain [for imprisonment], for the land is full of bloody crimes [murders committed under the pretense of civil justice] and the city is full of violence.

اصْنَعِ السِّلْسِلَةَ لِشَعْبِي لأَنَّ الأَرْضَ قَدْ عَمَّهَا سَفْكُ الدِّمَاءِ، وَسَادَ الْمَدِينَةَ الْجَوْرُ.

Gør fangelænkerne parat til mit folk, for Jerusalem er fyldt med vold, og landet er fuld af mordere.

Maak ketens klaar voor mijn volk, want overal in het land worden bloedbaden aangericht. Jeruzalem is vol geweld.
