Ezekiel 40:6

Then he went to the gate which faced the east and went up its [seven] steps and measured the threshold of the gate, one rod in width; and the other threshold [of the gate inside the thick wall] was one rod in width.

ثُمَّ تَقَدَّمَ مِنَ الْبَابِ الْمُوَاجِهِ لِلشَّرْقِ وَارْتَقَى دَرَجَهُ وَقَاسَ عَتَبَةَ الْبَابِ، فَكَانَ عَرْضُهَا قَصَبَةً وَاحِدَةً (نَحْوَ ثَلاثَةِ أَمْتَارٍ)، كَمَا كَانَ عَرْضُ الْعَتَبَةِ الأُخْرَى قَصَبَةً وَاحِدَةً

Die Mauerstücke rechts und links an ihrem Ausgang waren beide 1 Meter dick. 11-12 Die sechs Kammern im Torgewölbe waren zum Torinneren hin durch eine Mauer von 0,5 Metern Höhe abgegrenzt.Als Nächstes maß der Mann die Breite der Toröffnung. Sie betrug 6,5 Meter und innerhalb der Torangeln 5 Meter.

Do outro lado dos compartimentos havia um vestíbulo de 3 metros, que dava para um átrio com 4 metros, e colunas de 1 metro. Do outro lado do átrio, na outra extremidade da passagem, havia um vestíbulo de 5 metros de largura e 6,5 metros de comprimento.
