Ezekiel 32:27

Nor do they lie beside the fallen heroes of the uncircumcised, who went down to Sheol with their weapons of war, whose swords were laid [with honors] under their heads. The punishment for their sins rested on their bones, for the terror of these heroes was once in the land of the living.

And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

Their shields rest on their bones. The soldiers of Meshek and Tubal do not lie down with them. This is true even though they had also spread terror while they were alive.

De ligger ikke blandt de gamle helte, som fik en ærefuld begravelseog fik deres våben med i dødsriget, sværdet under hovedet og skjoldet over kroppen, for de spredte rædsel i de levendes land.

昔の君主たちは、その武具をわきに置き、剣を枕とし、盾で体を覆うようにして、大きな栄誉を受けて埋葬された。だが彼らは、共同墓地に埋められただけだ。生前は人々に恐れられていたのに、

Zij zijn begraven in een gewoon graf en werden niet, als de gesneuvelde helden, met veel eerbewijzen ter aarde besteld. De helden hebben hun wapens naast zich en worden bedekt door hun schilden. De ligger inte bland de fallna, oomskurna hjältarna, som med sina vapen for ner i dödsriket och som ligger med sina svärd under huvudet och sina sköldar[c] lagda över knotorna. De spred skräck i de levandes land.
