Ezekiel 32:19

‘Whom [among them] do you surpass in beauty?Go down and make your bed with the uncircumcised (the barbaric, the boorish, the crude).’

Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.

‘Whom do you surpass in beauty?Go down and make your bed with the uncircumcised.’

Tell them, ‘Are you any better than others? Since you are not, go down there. Lie down with those who have not been circumcised.’

Say to them, ‘Are you more favored than others? Go down and be laid among the uncircumcised.’

Say to them, “Are you more favoured than others? Go down and be laid among the uncircumcised.”

Say to them,‘O Egypt, are you lovelier than the other nations? No! So go down to the pit and lie there among the outcasts.[d]’

عَلَى مَنْ تَفَوَّقْتَ بِالْجَمَالِ؟ انْزِلْ وَارْقُدْ مَعَ الْغُلْفِ.

Du Egypten, er du mon bedre end de andre? Kom ned og lig blandt de andre gudløse!

Sag zu Ägypten:Deine ganze Pracht – wo ist sie geblieben? Was hast du anderen Völkern jetzt noch voraus? Du musst hinunter ins Totenreich, mitten unter die unbeschnittenen Heiden!

Denkt u soms een bevoorrechte positie te hebben, Egypte? Nee, u zult worden verbannen naar het diepst van het dodenrijk, waar u terecht zult komen tussen onreine mensen.
