Ezekiel 31:14

so that none of the trees by the waters may exalt themselves because of their height, nor set their top among the clouds, nor their well-watered mighty ones stand [arrogantly] in their height. For they have all been handed over to death, to the earth beneath, among the sons of men, with those who go down to the pit (the grave).”

To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

So trees that receive plenty of water must never grow so high that it makes them proud. Their tops must never be above the rest of the leaves. No other trees that receive a lot of water must ever grow that high. They are appointed to die and go down into the earth below. They will join human beings, who go down to the place of the dead.”

Therefore no other trees by the waters are ever to tower proudly on high, lifting their tops above the thick foliage. No other trees so well-watered are ever to reach such a height; they are all destined for death, for the earth below, among mortals who go down to the realm of the dead.

Let the tree of no other nation proudly exult in its own prosperity,though it be higher than the clouds and it be watered from the depths.For all are doomed to die, to go down to the depths of the earth.They will land in the pit along with everyone else on earth.

لِئَلّا تَشْمَخَ شَجَرَةٌ مَا مَغْرُوسَةٌ عَلَى الْمِيَاهِ لاِرْتِفَاعِ قَامَتِهَا، وَلا تُطَاوِلُ بِهَامَتِهَا الْغُيُومَ، وَلِكَيْ لَا تَبْلُغَ أَيَّةُ شَجَرَةٍ تُرْوِيهَا الْمِيَاهُ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْعُلُوِّ، لأَنَّهَا جَمِيعَهَا مَآلُهَا الْمَوْتُ، حَيْثُ تَمْضِي إِلَى الأَرْضِ السُّفْلَى بَيْنَ الْفَانِينَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ، مَعَ الْهَابِطِينَ إِلَى الْهَاوِيَةِ.

Ingen træer har lov at få så høje stammer, at de når til skyerne, uanset hvor dybt ned deres rødder når, og hvor meget vand de får. Ingen skal sætte lid til deres egen styrke og storhed. Alle skal forgå og ende i dødsriget. Selv de stærkeste ender i graven.

그래서 물가에 있는 나무도 키가 크다고 해서 교만하지 못하게 하고 그 꼭대기를 구름 속으로 쳐들지 못하게 하며 물 공급을 잘 받는 나무라 할지라도 그처럼 높이 솟아오르지 못하게 하였다. 이것은 그 나무들이 모두 죽어 구덩이로 내려가는 사람들과 함께 지하에서 머물도록 되어 있기 때문이다.

Därför ska aldrig mer några träd som växer vid vatten vara högmodiga över sin höjd och skjuta upp sin topp bland molnen, inga välvattnade träd, hur höga de än blir. De är alla bestämda till att dö och måste ner i jorden, tillsammans med de människor som lagts i graven.

故此，水边的树木都不再傲然矗立，高耸入云，水源充足的大树也不再如此高大，因为它们都注定要与下坟墓的人一同死亡，落到阴间的深处。’

故此，水邊的樹木都不再傲然矗立，高聳入雲，水源充足的大樹也不再如此高大，因為它們都註定要與下墳墓的人一同死亡，落到陰間的深處。』
