Ezekiel 3:1

He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find [in this book]; eat this scroll, then go, speak to the house of Israel.”

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

He told me, “Son of man, eat what you see. Eat this book. Then go and speak to the family of Israel.” 2-3 As I opened my mouth, he gave me the scroll to eat, saying, “Son of man, eat this book that I am giving you. Make a full meal of it!”So I ate it. It tasted so good—just like honey. 4-6 Then he told me, “Son of man, go to the family of Israel and speak my Message. Look, I’m not sending you to a people who speak a hard-to-learn language with words you can hardly pronounce. If I had sent you to such people, their ears would have perked up and they would have listened immediately. 7-9 “But it won’t work that way with the family of Israel. They won’t listen to you because they won’t listen to me. They are, as I said, a hard case, hardened in their sin. But I’ll make you as hard in your way as they are in theirs. I’ll make your face as hard as rock, harder than granite. Don’t let them intimidate you. Don’t be afraid of them, even though they’re a bunch of rebels.” 10-11 Then he said, “Son of man, get all these words that I’m giving you inside you. Listen to them obediently. Make them your own. And now go. Go to the exiles, your people, and speak. Tell them, ‘This is the Message of God, the Master.’ Speak your piece, whether they listen or not.” 12-13 Then the Spirit picked me up. Behind me I heard a great commotion—“Blessed be the Glory of God in his Sanctuary!”—the wings of the living creatures beating against each other, the whirling wheels, the rumble of a great earthquake. 14-15 The Spirit lifted me and took me away. I went bitterly and angrily. I didn’t want to go. But God had me in his grip. I arrived among the exiles who lived near the Kebar River at Tel Aviv. I came to where they were living and sat there for seven days, appalled.

Then He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.”

The Lord said to me, “Son of man, eat what is in front of you. Eat this scroll. Then go and speak to the people of Israel.”

And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.”

And he said to me, ‘Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.’

The voice said to me, “Son of man, eat what I am giving you—eat this scroll! Then go and give its message to the people of Israel.”

ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي: «يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، كُلْ مَا تَجِدُهُ. كُلْ هَذَا الدَّرْجَ وامْضِ وَخَاطِبْ شَعْبَ إِسْرَائِيلَ».

„Spis nu den her bogrulle,” sagde han, „og forkynd derefter mit ord for Israels folk.”

Gott sprach zu mir: »Du Mensch, nimm die Schriftrolle, die du vor dir siehst, und iss sie auf! Dann geh zum Volk Israel und rede zu ihnen!«

Celui qui me parlait me dit : Fils d’homme, mange ce qui t’est présenté, avale ce rouleau, puis va parler à la communauté d’Israël.

Nagsiling pa gid ang tingog sa akon, “Tawo, kauna ining linukot nga kasulatan, kag maglakat ka kag maghambal sa katawhan sang Israel.”

その方は命じました。「人の子よ、わたしが与えるものを食べなさい。さあ、この巻物を食べるのだ。それから出て行って、そのことばをイスラエルの民に告げるのだ。」

그가 나에게 “사람의 아들아, 너는 네 앞에 있는 것을 먹어라. 너는 이 두루마 리를 먹고 가서 이스라엘 백성에게 말하라” 하셨다.

Hij zei tegen mij: ‘Mensenzoon, eet wat Ik u geef, eet deze boekrol op! Ga dan en geef mijn boodschap door aan het volk van Israël.’

E ele me disse: “Filho do homem, coma este rolo; depois vá falar à nação de Israel”.

“Homem mortal”, continuou a dizer-me, “come o que estou a dar-te, ingere este rolo! Depois vai e comunica a sua mensagem ao povo de Israel.”

El mi-a zis: „Fiul omului, mănâncă ceea ce vei găsi înaintea ta, mănâncă sulul acesta, apoi du-te şi vorbeşte-i Casei lui Israel!“

Sedan sa han till mig: ”Du människa, ät upp vad som finns framför dig, ät upp den här bokrullen! Gå sedan och tala till israeliterna!”

พระองค์ตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าว่า “บุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงกินหนังสือม้วนซึ่งอยู่ตรงหน้าเจ้านี้ แล้วไปกล่าวแก่พงศ์พันธุ์อิสราเอล”

祂对我说：“人子啊，你要把得到的吃下去，要吃下这书卷，然后去向以色列人传讲。”

他 对 我 说 ： 人 子 啊 ， 要 吃 你 所 得 的 ， 要 吃 这 书 卷 ， 好 去 对 以 色 列 家 讲 说 。
