Ezekiel 29:18

“Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made his army [c]work hard [at My command] against Tyre; every [soldier’s] head became [d]bald and every shoulder was worn and peeled [from carrying loads of dirt and stones for siege works]. Yet he had no wages from Tyre [in proportion to the time and labor expended during the siege], either for himself or his army, for the work that he had done against it [for Me].”

Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:

“Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made his army labor [r]hard against Tyre; every head was made bald and every shoulder was rubbed bare. But he and his army had no wages from Tyre for the labor that he had [s]performed against it.”

“Son of man, King Nebuchadnezzar drove his army in a hard military campaign. The campaign was against Tyre. Their helmets rubbed their heads bare. The heavy loads they carried made their shoulders raw. But he and his army did not gain anything from the campaign he led against Tyre.

“Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon drove his army in a hard campaign against Tyre; every head was rubbed bare and every shoulder made raw. Yet he and his army got no reward from the campaign he led against Tyre.

«يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، إِنَّ نَبُوخَذْنَصَّرَ مَلِكَ بَابِلَ قَدْ سَخَّرَ جَيْشَهُ أَشَدَّ تَسْخِيرٍ ضِدَّ صُورَ، فَأَصْبَحَتْ كُلُّ رَأْسٍ مِنْ رُؤُوسِ جُنُودِهِ صَلْعَاءَ، وَكُلُّ كَتِفٍ مُجَرَّدَةً مِنَ الثِّيَابِ. وَلَكِنْ لَمْ يَغْنَمْ هُوَ وَلا جَيْشُهُ شَيْئاً مِنْ صُورَ رَغْمَ مَا كَابَدَهُ مِنْ جَهْدٍ لِلاِسْتِيلاءِ عَلَيْهَا.

„Du menneske, kong Nebukadnezars hær har arbejdet hårdt for at besejre Tyrus. Deres hår og tøj er slidt af dem. Hverken kongen selv eller hæren fik løn for deres indsats imod Tyrus.

»Du Mensch, Nebukadnezar, der König von Babylonien, ließ seine Soldaten hart arbeiten, als er die Stadt Tyrus belagerte. 「人の子よ。バビロンの王ネブカデネザルの軍隊がツロを激しく攻撃した。兵士たちは、土をいっぱい入れた重いバケツを載せて運んだために頭がはげ、肩は包囲攻撃に使う石の重さですりむけ、手にはまめができた。そうまでしても、ネブカデネザル王は何の戦利品も得られず、兵士たちに何も報いることができなかった。」

“사람의 아들아, 바빌로니아의 느부갓네살왕이 두로를 치느라고 자기 병사들에게 무거운 짐을 나르게 하여 그들의 머리가 까지고 어깨가 벗겨졌으나 그와 그 군대가 수고한 대가를 전혀 얻지 못하였다.

‘Mensenzoon, het leger van koning Nebukadnezar van Babel voerde een hevige strijd tegen Tyrus. De hoofden van de soldaten waren kaal en hun schouders waren ontveld en deden pijn door het dragen van zware manden met aarde en door de ladingen stenen die nodig waren voor het beleg. Maar de strijd heeft Nebukadnezar geen enkel voordeel gebracht.

“Filho do homem, o rei Nabucodonosor, da Babilônia, conduziu o seu exército numa dura campanha contra Tiro; toda cabeça foi esfregada até não ficar cabelo algum e todo ombro ficou esfolado. Contudo, ele e o seu exército não obtiveram nenhuma recompensa com a campanha que ele conduziu contra Tiro.

“Homem mortal, o exército do rei Nabucodonozor da Babilónia combateu duramente contra Tiro. As cabeças dos soldados tornaram-se calvas; os seus ombros esfolaram-se e empolaram[e]. Nabucodonozor não recebeu por isso nenhuma compensação nem pôde pagar ao exército por todo esse trabalho.

„Fiul omului, Nebucadneţar, împăratul Babilonului, şi-a pus oştirea să facă o lucrare grea împotriva Tirului. Fiecare cap a fost pleşuvit şi fiecare umăr a fost zdrelit, dar nici el, nici oştirea lui nu au căpătat nici o răsplată din Tir pentru lucrarea pe care au înfăptuit-o împotriva cetăţii.

”Du människa, den babyloniske kungen Nebukadnessar drev sin armé hårt mot Tyros. Allas huvuden slets kala och allas skuldror blev sönderskavda. Ändå fick han och hans armé inget ut av allt sitt slit vid anfallet mot Tyros.
