Their breasts were fondled, their young bosoms caressed. The older sister was named Oholah, the younger was Oholibah. They were my daughters, and they gave birth to sons and daughters.“Oholah is Samaria and Oholibah is Jerusalem.

Herren sagde til mig: 2-3 „Du menneske, der var engang to søstre, der fra deres tidligste ungdom levede som prostituerede i Egypten. Dér krammede og knugede man deres jomfruelige bryster.

Da empfing ich wieder eine Botschaft vom Herrn. Er sprach zu mir:

In dat land werden hun maagdelijke borsten voor het eerst gekust en betast. 4,5 De oudste heette Ohola, haar zuster Oholiba. Ik heb het nu over Samaria en Jeruzalem! Ik trouwde met hen en zij gaven Mij zonen en dochters. Maar toen verkocht Ohola zich als prostituee aan anderen terwijl ze nog van Mij was en ze schonk haar liefde aan de Assyriërs, haar buren.
