Ezekiel 22:18

“Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross (metallic waste) to Me. All of them are (useless) bronze, tin, iron, and lead in the furnace; they are the dross of silver.

Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.

“Son of man, the people of Israel have become like scum to me. All of them are like the copper, tin, iron and lead left inside a furnace. They are only the scum that is removed from silver.”

«يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، قَدْ أَصْبَحَ شَعْبُ إِسْرَائِيلَ لِي نُفَايَةً. كُلُّهُمْ مِثْلُ النُّحَاسِ وَالْقَصْدِيرِ وَالْحَدِيدِ وَالرَّصَاصِ فِي كُورٍ. صَارُوا حُثَالَةَ فِضَّةٍ.

„Du menneske, Israels folk burde være som det ædle sølv, men er nu blandet med uædle metaller, såsom kobber, tin, jern og bly. 19-20 Derfor skal du sige til dem fra mig af: Fordi I er blandet op med uædle metaller, vil jeg hælde jer i en smeltedigel i Jerusalem.
