Ezekiel 2:6

And you, son of man, neither fear them nor fear their words; though briars and thorns are all around you and you sit among scorpions, neither fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, for they are a rebellious house.

And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

أَمَّا أَنْتَ، يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، فَلا تَرْهَبْهُمْ وَلا تَخْشَ كَلامَهُمْ، وَإِنْ كَانُوا لَكَ قَرِيساً وَشَوْكاً. وَأَنْتَ سَاكِنٌ بَيْنَ عَقَارِبَ، فَلا تَرْهَبْ كَلامَهُمْ، وَلا تَفْزَعْ مِنْ مَحْضَرِهِمْ لأَنَّهُمْ شَعْبٌ مُتَمَرِّدٌ.

Du aber, Mensch, fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen, hab keine Angst vor ihrem Spott! Ihre Worte verletzen dich wie Disteln und Dornen – ja, du lebst mitten unter Skorpionen. Trotzdem brauchst du dich nicht von ihnen und ihrem Gerede einschüchtern zu lassen! Sie sind eben ein gottloses Volk.

En u, mensenzoon, wees niet bang voor hen, schrik niet terug als zij dreigementen uiten die als schorpioenen steken. Laat u niet ontmoedigen door hun kwade gezichten. Want vergeet niet: het zijn rebellen!

Cât despre tine, fiul omului, să nu te temi nici de ei, nici de cuvintele lor! Chiar dacă spinii şi mărăcinii cresc lângă tine şi chiar dacă locuieşti printre scorpioni, să nu te temi de cuvintele lor şi să nu te înspăimânţi de feţele lor, căci ei sunt o Casă răzvrătită.
