Exodus 8:26

But Moses said, “It is not right [or even possible] to do that, for we will sacrifice to the Lord our God what is repulsive and unacceptable to the Egyptians [that is, animals that the Egyptians consider sacred]. If we sacrifice what is repulsive and unacceptable to the Egyptians, will they not riot and stone us?

And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the Lord our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

But Moses said, “It is not right to do so, for we will sacrifice to the Lord our God [z]what is an abomination to the Egyptians. If we sacrifice [aa]what is an abomination to the Egyptians before their eyes, will they not then stone us?

But Moses said, “That wouldn’t be right. The sacrifices we offer to the Lord our God wouldn’t be accepted by the Egyptians because of their beliefs. For that reason, they would throw stones at us and try to kill us.

But Moses said, “That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the Lord our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us?

But Moses said, ‘That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the Lord our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us?

But Moses replied, “That wouldn’t be right. The Egyptians detest the sacrifices that we offer to the Lord our God. Look, if we offer our sacrifices here where the Egyptians can see us, they will stone us.

فَأَجَابَ مُوسَى: «لَيْسَ مُسْتَحْسَناً أَنْ نَفْعَلَ هَذَا، لأَنَّ الذَّبَائِحَ الَّتِي نُقَدِّمُهَا لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا هِي رِجْسٌ لَدَى الْمِصْرِيِّينَ. فَإِنْ قَدَّمْنَا هَذِهِ الذَّبَائِحَ الَّتِي يَكْرَهُهَا الْمِصْرِيُّونَ، أَلا يَرْجُمُونَنَا؟

Så forlod Moses Farao og bad Herren om at fjerne fluerne,

Mose verließ den Pharao und betete zum Herrn.

―No estaría bien hacerlo así —contestó Moisés—, porque los sacrificios que ofrecemos al Señor nuestro Dios resultan ofensivos para los egipcios. Si a la vista de ellos ofrecemos sacrificios que les son ofensivos, seguramente nos apedrearán.

Moïse sortit de chez le pharaon et pria l’Eternel.

Nagsabat si Moises, “Indi puwede nga diri kami maghalad sa Egipto, kay ang amon mga halad sa Ginoo nga amon Dios makangilil-ad para sa mga Egiptohanon. Kag kon maghalad kami sang mga halad nga makangilil-ad para sa ila, sigurado nga batuhon nila kami.

「おことばを返すようですが、それはだめです。私たちがささげるいけにえは、エジプトではたいへん嫌われているものです。そこでいけにえをささげたら、私たちのほうが殺されかねません。

그러나 모세는 이렇게 대답하였다. “그렇게 하면 안 됩니다. 이집트 사람들은 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와께 희생제물을 드리는 것을 아주 싫어합니다. 우리가 만일 이집트 사람들이 보는 데서 그들이 지긋지긋하게 여기는 희생제물을 드리면 그들이 우리 를 돌로 치지 않겠습니까?

Maar Mozes antwoordde: ‘Dat kan niet. De Egyptenaren zullen er zeker aanstoot aan nemen als wij hier aan onze God offeren. Ze zouden ons stenigen!

“Isso não seria sensato”, respondeu Moisés; “os sacrifícios que oferecemos ao Senhor, o nosso Deus, são um sacrilégio para os egípcios. Se oferecermos sacrifícios que lhes pareçam sacrilégio, isso não os levará a nos apedrejar?

Moisés replicou: “Não pode ser assim. Os nossos sacrifícios, que oferecemos ao Senhor nosso Deus, causam horror aos egípcios. Se os fizermos aqui, diante deles, matam-nos.

– Nu este bine să facem astfel, i-a răspuns Moise, pentru că jertfele pe care le aducem Domnului, Dumnezeul nostru, sunt privite drept urâciuni de către egipteni. Dacă aducem înaintea egiptenilor jertfe care pentru ei sunt o urâciune, nu ne vor omorî ei cu pietre?

Mose svarade: ”Det går inte. Egypterna skulle avsky om vi offrade till Herren, vår Gud, och offrar vi sådant som de avskyr här mitt framför ögonen på dem, kommer de säkert att stena oss.

摩西说：“这怎么行？我们用来献祭的东西，是埃及人最憎恶的。如果我们在埃及境内举行这样的仪式，他们一定会拿石头打死我们。

摩西說：「這怎麼行？我們用來獻祭的東西，是埃及人最憎惡的。如果我們在埃及境內舉行這樣的儀式，他們一定會拿石頭打死我們。
