Exodus 32:1

Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, they gathered together before Aaron and said to him, “Come, make us a [a]god who will go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up from the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

When the people realized that Moses was taking forever in coming down off the mountain, they rallied around Aaron and said, “Do something. Make gods for us who will lead us. That Moses, the man who got us out of Egypt—who knows what’s happened to him?” 2-4 So Aaron told them, “Take off the gold rings from the ears of your wives and sons and daughters and bring them to me.” They all did it; they removed the gold rings from their ears and brought them to Aaron. He took the gold from their hands and cast it in the form of a calf, shaping it with an engraving tool.The people responded with enthusiasm: “These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up from Egypt!”

Now when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people assembled about Aaron and said to him, “Come, make us [a]a god who will go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up from the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”

The people saw that Moses took a long time to come down from the mountain. So they gathered around Aaron. They said to him, “Come. Make us a god that will lead us. This fellow Moses brought us up out of Egypt. But we don’t know what has happened to him.”

وَلَمَّا رَأَى الشَّعْبُ أَنَّ مُوسَى قَدْ طَالَتْ إقَامَتُهُ عَلَى الْجَبَلِ، اجْتَمَعُوا حَوْلَ هَرُونَ، وَقَالُوا لَهُ: «هَيَّا، اصْنَعْ لَنَا إِلَهاً يَتَقَدَّمُنَا فِي مَسِيرِنَا، لأَنَّنَا لَا نَدْرِي مَاذَا أَصَابَ هَذَا الرَّجُلَ مُوسَى الَّذِي أَخْرَجَنَا مِنْ دِيَارِ مِصْرَ».

Moses havde nu opholdt sig på bjerget i mange dage, og israelitterne mistede til sidst håbet om, at han nogensinde ville komme tilbage. Derfor gik de hen til Aron og sagde: „Lav os en gud, som kan føre os videre, for vi ved ikke, hvad der er blevet af den her Moses, som førte os ud af Egypten.” 2-3 „Jo, men så skal I bringe mig de guldøreringe, som jeres koner, sønner og døtre går med,” svarede Aron.Så tog de alle deres øreringe af og bragte dem til Aron.

Quand le peuple s’aperçut que Moïse tardait à redescendre de la montagne, il se rassembla autour d’Aaron et lui dit : Allons ! Fabrique-nous des dieux qui marchent à notre tête, car Moïse, cet homme qui nous a fait sortir d’Egypte, nous ne savons pas ce qui lui est arrivé.

Toen het volk zag dat Mozes niet direct terugkeerde van de berg, ging het naar Aäron. ‘Vooruit,’ zeiden zij, ‘maak een god voor ons die voor ons uit kan gaan, want we weten niet wat er met Mozes gebeurd is, die ons uit Egypte hierheen heeft geleid.’

När folket såg att Mose dröjde med att komma tillbaka från berget, samlades de hos Aron och sa till honom: ”Gör gudar[a] åt oss som kan leda oss, för vad som har hänt den där Mose, som förde oss upp ur Egyptens land, det vet vi inte.”

เมื่อเหล่าประชากรเห็นว่าโมเสสล่าช้าไม่กลับลงมาจากภูเขา จึงพากันไปหาอาโรนและกล่าวว่า “มาเถิด ช่วยสร้างเทพเจ้าขึ้นมานำพวกเราไป เพราะเราไม่รู้ว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้นกับโมเสสผู้ที่นำพวกเราออกมาจากอียิปต์”

百姓见摩西迟迟没有下山，就聚集到亚伦那里，对他说：“领我们离开埃及的那个摩西不知怎样了，你给我们造神像来带领我们吧。”

百 姓 见 摩 西 迟 延 不 下 山 ， 就 大 家 聚 集 到 亚 伦 那 里 ， 对 他 说 ： 起 来 ！ 为 我 们 做 神 像 ， 可 以 在 我 们 前 面 引 路 ； 因 为 领 我 们 出 埃 及 地 的 那 个 摩 西 ， 我 们 不 知 道 他 遭 了 甚 麽 事 。

百姓見摩西遲遲沒有下山，就聚集到亞倫那裡，對他說：「領我們離開埃及的那個摩西不知怎樣了，你給我們造神像來帶領我們吧。」
