Exodus 24:11

Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the Israelites; and they saw [the manifestation of the presence of] God, and ate and drank.

And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ لَمْ يَمُدَّ يَدَهُ لِيُهْلِكَ أَشْرَافَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، فَرَأَوْا اللهَ وَأَكَلُوا وَشَرِبُوا.

Men selv om folkets ledere så Gud, udryddede han dem ikke. De spiste og drak i Herrens nærvær.
