Exodus 22:30

You shall do the same with your oxen and with your sheep. It shall be with its mother for seven days; on the eighth day you shall give it [as an offering] to Me.

وَكَذَلِكَ تَفْعَلُ بِبَقَرِكَ وَغَنَمِكَ. سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ تُبْقِي الْبِكْرَ مَعَ أُمِّهِ، وَفِي يَوْمِهِ الثَّامِنِ تُقَدِّمُهُ لِي.

I skal være et helligt folk. Derfor må I ikke spise kød fra husdyr, som er blevet dræbt af rovdyr. Giv det i stedet til hundene.

På samma sätt ska du göra med det förstfödda av din boskap. Du ska ge det till mig på den åttonde dagen, sedan det under sju dagar har varit tillsammans med modern.
