Exodus 2:3

When she could no longer hide him, she got him a basket (chest) made of papyrus reeds and covered it with tar and pitch [making it waterproof]. Then she put the child in it and set it among the reeds by the bank of the Nile.

And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.

وَلَمَّا لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ تُخْفِيَهُ بَعْدُ، أَتَتْ بِسَلَّةٍ مِنَ الْبَرْدِيِّ وَطَلَتْهَا بِالْحُمَرِ والزِّفْتِ وأَضْجَعَتِ الطِّفْلَ وَوَضَعَتْهُ بَيْنَ الْحَلْفَاءِ عَلَى ضَفَّةِ النَّهْرِ.

Da hun ikke længere kunne skjule barnet, lavede hun en kurv af papyrusrør og gjorde den vandtæt med beg og tjære. Så lagde hun barnet i kurven og satte den ud mellem sivene ved Nilens bred.

Men när hon inte längre kunde hålla honom gömd, gjorde hon en korg av papyrus och tätade den med jordbeck och tjära. Hon lade pojken i korgen och placerade den i vassen vid flodstranden.

แต่เมื่อนางไม่อาจซ่อนเด็กไว้ได้ต่อไป นางจึงนำต้นกกมาสานเป็นตะกร้า ยาด้วยชันและยางมะตอย แล้ววางเด็กลงในตะกร้า ปล่อยให้ลอยอยู่กลางกอปรือริมแม่น้ำไนล์

后来无法再藏下去，她就拿来一个蒲草篮子，外面涂上防水的沥青和柏油，然后把婴儿放在里面，又把篮子放在尼罗河边的芦苇丛中。

後 来 不 能 再 藏 ， 就 取 了 一 个 蒲 草 箱 ， 抹 上 石 漆 和 石 油 ， 将 孩 子 放 在 里 头 ， 把 箱 子 搁 在 河 边 的 芦 荻 中 。

後來無法再藏下去，她就拿來一個蒲草籃子，外面塗上防水的瀝青和柏油，然後把嬰兒放在裡面，又把籃子放在尼羅河邊的蘆葦叢中。
