Now it happened at midnight that the Lord struck every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the prisoner who was in the [g]dungeon, and all the firstborn of the cattle.

And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

وَفِي مُنْتَصَفِ اللَّيْلِ أَهْلَكَ الرَّبُّ كُلَّ بِكْرٍ فِي بِلادِ مِصْرَ، مِنْ بِكْرِ فِرْعَوْنَ الْمُتَرَبِّعِ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ إِلَى بِكْرِ الْحَبِيسِ فِي السِّجْنِ، وَأَبْكَارَ الْبَهَائِمِ جَمِيعاً أَيْضاً.

Ved midnatstid slog Herren alle de førstefødte sønner i de egyptiske familier ihjel—lige fra Faraos søn, kronprinsen, til den førstefødte søn af fangen i fangehullet. Selv de førstefødte blandt dyrene måtte dø.

La miezul nopţii Domnul a lovit toţi întâii născuţi din ţara Egiptului, de la întâiul născut al lui Faraon, care stătea pe tronul său, până la întâiul născut al prizonierului, care era în temniţă, şi întâiul născut al tuturor vitelor.

เที่ยงคืนวันนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงประหารบุตรหัวปีทั้งหมดในอียิปต์ ตั้งแต่ราชบุตรหัวปีของฟาโรห์ผู้ประทับบนบัลลังก์ลงมาจนถึงบุตรชายหัวปีของนักโทษในคุก ตลอดจนลูกหัวปีของสัตว์ทั้งหลายด้วย
