Ecclesiastes 6:11

For there are many other words that increase futility. What then is the advantage for a man?

Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better?

The more words people use, the less meaning there is. And that doesn’t help anyone.

فِي كَثْرَةِ الْكَلامِ كَثْرَةُ الْبَاطِلِ، فَأَيُّ جَدْوَى مِنْهُ لِلإِنْسَانِ؟

Jo mere man argumenterer, jo mindre mening giver det. Så hvad nytte er det til?

Er kann ihn noch so sehr anklagen – es hat ja doch keinen Sinn und hilft ihm nicht weiter!

Hoe meer woorden u gebruikt, des te minder betekenen zij, waarom zou u dus nog veel zeggen?

Quanto mais palavras, mais tolices[a],e sem nenhum proveito.

Quanto mais se falar, menos significado terão as nossas palavras; por isso, de que serve procurar falar a todo o custo?

Cu cât sunt mai numeroase cuvintele, cu atât este mai mare deşertăciunea! Şi ce folos are omul din aceasta?
