Ecclesiastes 4:16

There is no end to all the people; to all who were before them. Yet those who come later will not be happy with him. Surely this also is vanity (emptiness) and chasing after the wind.

There is no end of all the people, even of all that have been before them: they also that come after shall not rejoice in him. Surely this also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ نِهَايَةٌ لِلْجَمَاهِيرِ الَّذِينَ سَارَ فِي طَلِيعَتِهِمْ، غَيْرَ أَنَّ الأَجْيَالَ اللّاحِقَةَ لَا تُسَرُّ بِهِ، فَهَذَا أَيْضاً بَاطِلٌ وَكَمُلاحَقَةِ الرِّيحِ.

拥护他的人不计其数，以后的世代却对他不满。这也是虚空，如同捕风。

他 所 治 理 的 众 人 就 是 他 的 百 姓 ， 多 得 无 数 ； 在 他 後 来 的 人 尚 且 不 喜 悦 他 。 这 真 是 虚 空 ， 也 是 捕 风 。
