Ecclesiastes 4:1

Then I looked again and considered all the acts of oppression that were being practiced under the sun. And behold I saw the tears of the oppressed and they had no one to comfort them; and on the side of their oppressors was power, but they had no one to comfort them.

So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

1-3 Next I turned my attention to all the outrageous violence that takes place on this planet—the tears of the victims, no one to comfort them; the iron grip of oppressors, no one to rescue the victims from them. So I congratulated the dead who are already dead instead of the living who are still alive. But luckier than the dead or the living is the person who has never even been, who has never seen the bad business that takes place on this earth.

Then I looked again at all the acts of oppression which were being done under the sun. And behold I saw the tears of the oppressed and that they had no one to comfort them; and on the side of their oppressors was power, but they had no one to comfort them.

I looked and saw how much people were suffering on this earth.I saw the tears of those who are suffering. They don’t have anyone to comfort them.Power is on the side of those who treat them badly. Those who are suffering don’t have anyone to comfort them.

Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun:I saw the tears of the oppressed— and they have no comforter;power was on the side of their oppressors— and they have no comforter.

Again, I observed all the oppression that takes place under the sun. I saw the tears of the oppressed, with no one to comfort them. The oppressors have great power, and their victims are helpless.

ثُمَّ تَأَمَّلْتُ حَوْلِي فَرَأَيْتُ جَمِيعَ الْمَظَالِمِ الَّتِي تُرْتَكَبُ تَحْتَ الشَّمْسِ. شَهِدْتُ دُمُوعَ الْمَظْلُومِينَ الَّذِينَ لَا مُعَزِّيَ لَهُمْ، أَمَّا ظَالِمُوهُمْ فَيَتَمَتَّعُونَ بِالْقُوَّةِ، غَيْرَ أَنَّ الْمَظْلُومِينَ لَا مُعَزِّيَ لَهُمْ.

Dernæst iagttog jeg, hvordan folk ud over jorden blev undertrykt. Jeg så deres tårer, men ingen hjalp dem, for det var undertrykkerne, der havde magten.

Dann wieder sah ich, wie viele Menschen auf dieser Welt ausgebeutet werden. Die Unterdrückten vergießen bittere Tränen, doch niemand tröstet sie. Keiner hilft ihnen, weil ihre Unterdrücker so mächtig sind.

Luego me fijé en tanta opresión que hay en esta vida. Vi llorar a los oprimidos, y no había quien los consolara; el poder estaba del lado de sus opresores, y no había quien los consolara.

J’ai encore considéré toutes les oppressions qui se pratiquent sous le soleil. Les opprimés versent des larmes et il n’y a personne pour les consoler ; la force est du côté de leurs oppresseurs, sans qu’il y ait quelqu’un pour les consoler.

Nakita ko pa gid ang mga pagpamigos diri sa kalibutan. Nakita ko ang mga paghibi sang mga ginapigos, kag wala sing may nagalipay kag nagapalig-on sa ila. Gamhanan ang mga nagapamigos sa ila.

次に私は、世界中で行われているしいたげと悲しみを見ました。しいたげられている人が涙を流しても、だれも手を貸そうとしません。一方で、しいたげる者たちはしっかりと手を組んでいます。

나는 세상의 모든 학대와 슬픔을 보았다. 학대받는 자가 눈물을 흘려도 위 로하는 자가 없으며 학대하는 자에게는 권세가 있다.

Daarna keek ik naar alle verdrukking en verdriet op aarde, ik zag de tranen van de onderdrukten, er was niemand die hen hielp. Hun onderdrukkers gebruikten veel geweld, maar er was niemand die de onderdrukten hielp.

De novo olhei e vi toda a opressão que ocorre debaixo do sol:Vi as lágrimas dos oprimidos,mas não há quem os console;o poder está do lado dos seus opressores,e não há quem os console.

Seguidamente, pus-me a observar todas as opressões que se praticam sobre a face da Terra, as lágrimas dos oprimidos, sem haver ninguém que intervenha a favor deles, ao mesmo tempo que o poder se concentra do lado dos opressores.

„M-am uitat apoi şi am văzut toate asupririle care se fac sub soare. Şi iată călacrimile celor asupriţi nu aveau alinare;puterea era de partea asupritorilor lor şi nu exista scăpare pentru cei persecutaţi.

И вновь посмотрел я и увидел все те угнетения, которые делаются под солнцем:я видел слёзы угнетённых, но никто их не утешит;сила на стороне их угнетателей, а у них нет утешителя.

Därefter såg jag på allt förtryck som begås under solen: Jag såg de förtrycktas tårar, och ingen tröstade dem, förtryckarens våld mot dem, men ingen tröstade dem.

แล้วข้าพเจ้าได้มองดูและได้เห็นการกดขี่ข่มเหงทั้งปวงซึ่งเกิดขึ้นภายใต้ดวงอาทิตย์ข้าพเจ้าเห็นน้ำตาของคนที่ถูกกดขี่ข่มเหงและไม่มีใครปลอบโยนเขาอำนาจทั้งหลายก็อยู่ในมือของคนที่กดขี่และไม่มีใครปลอบโยนเขา

于是，我又观察日光之下的一切欺压之事。我看见受欺压的泪流满面，无人安慰。因为欺压者有权有势，所以无人安慰他们。

我 又 转 念 ， 见 日 光 之 下 所 行 的 一 切 欺 压 。 看 哪 ， 受 欺 压 的 流 泪 ， 且 无 人 安 慰 ； 欺 压 他 们 的 有 势 力 ， 也 无 人 安 慰 他 们 。

於是，我又觀察日光之下的一切欺壓之事。我看見受欺壓的淚流滿面，無人安慰。因為欺壓者有權有勢，所以無人安慰他們。
