Ecclesiastes 2:14

The wise man’s eyes are in his head, but the fool walks in darkness; and yet I know that [in the end] one fate happens to them both.

The eyes of a wise person see things clearly. A person who is foolish lives in darkness.But I finally realized that death catches up with both of them.

For the wise can see where they are going, but fools walk in the dark.” Yet I saw that the wise and the foolish share the same fate.

لأَنَّ عَيْنَيِ الْحَكِيمِ فِي رَأْسِهِ، أَمَّا الْجَاهِلُ فَيَمْشِي فِي الظُّلْمَةِ. لَكِنَّنِي أَدْرَكْتُ أَنَّهُمَا يُلاقِيَانِ مَصِيراً وَاحِداً.

Den vise tænker over hvilke konsekvenser, hans handlinger får for fremtiden, mens tåben famler rundt i mørke. Men jeg indså også, at den samme skæbne rammer os alle.

Der Weise läuft mit offenen Augen durch die Welt, doch der Unvernünftige tappt im Dunkeln. Und trotzdem wartet auf beide dasselbe Los!

지혜로운 사람에게는 머리에 눈이 있으나 어리석은 사람은 어두움 속을 다니고 있다. 그러나 나는 이들이 당할 운명이 같은 것을 깨닫고

want een wijze ziet wat hij doet, maar een dwaas dwaalt in het donker. Maar tegelijk merkte ik dat er één ding was dat zowel de wijze als de dwaas overkwam:

O homem sábio tem olhos que enxergam[a],mas o tolo anda nas trevas;todavia, percebi que ambos têm o mesmo destino.

O sábio é alguém que pode ver e que, por outro lado, o louco é um cego. Constatei também que há uma coisa que acontece tanto ao sábio como ao insensato, que tanto morre um como o outro.

Înţeleptul ştie să-şi folosească ochii, dar prostul umblă în întuneric.Am înţeles însă că pe amândoi îi paşte aceeaşi soartă.

Den vise har förmåga att se, medan dåren vandrar i mörkret. Men jag insåg att samma öde drabbar dem båda.

คนฉลาดมีตาอยู่ในสมองขณะที่คนโฉดเขลาเดินไปในความมืดแต่ข้าพเจ้าได้ประจักษ์ว่าชะตากรรมเดียวกันเกิดขึ้นแก่ทั้งสองฝ่าย

智者高瞻远瞩，愚人却在黑暗中摸索。但我知道两者终必有同样的命运。

智 慧 人 的 眼 目 光 明 （ 光 明 原 文 是 在 他 头 上 ） ， 愚 昧 人 在 黑 暗 里 行 。 我 却 看 明 有 一 件 事 ， 这 两 等 人 都 必 遇 见 。

智者高瞻遠矚，愚人卻在黑暗中摸索。但我知道兩者終必有同樣的命運。
