Deuteronomy 9:6

“Know [without any doubt], that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked (stubborn, obstinate) people.

Understand therefore, that the Lord thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

“Know, then, it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a [d]stubborn people.

The Lord your God is giving you this good land to take as your own. But you must understand that it isn’t because you are a godly nation. In fact, you are stubborn. Israel Worshiped the Golden Calf

فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ بِفَضْلِ صَلاحِكُمْ يَهَبُكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ هَذِهِ الأَرْضَ الْخَصِيبَةَ لامْتِلاكِهَا، لأَنَّكُمْ شَعْبٌ عَنِيدٌ. العجل الذهبي

Jeg kan forsikre jer om, at Herren ikke giver jer det dejlige land, fordi I har gjort jer fortjent til det. I er nemlig et stædigt og oprørsk folk! Påmindelse om Israels folks genstridighed

Begreift doch: Ihr habt dieses gute Land nicht verdient! Im Gegenteil, ihr seid ein widerspenstiges Volk.

くり返しますが、主があの良い地を下さるのは、あなたがたが正しいからではありません。それどころか、あなたがたは強情な民です。

내가 다시 말하지만 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 이 좋은 땅을 여러분에게 주시는 것은 여러분이 선해서가 아닙니다. 오히려 여러분은 악하고 고집 센 백성입니다.

你们要知道，耶和华赐给你们那佳美之地不是因为你们有好品德。其实你们是顽固不化的人。

你們要知道，耶和華賜給你們那佳美之地不是因為你們有好品德。其實你們是頑固不化的人。
