Deuteronomy 6:23

He brought us out from there in order to bring us in, to give us the land which He had sworn to [give] our fathers.’

But the Lord brought us out of Egypt. He planned to bring us into the land of Canaan and give it to us. It’s the land he promised to our people of long ago.

Herren førte dem ud af Egypten, for at de skulle gå ind og tage det land i besiddelse, som han havde lovet vores forfædre.

Han förde oss ut ur Egypten och ledde oss hit för att ge oss det land som han med ed hade lovat våra förfäder.
