Deuteronomy 6:20

“When your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is the meaning of the testimonies and statutes and judgments (precepts) which the Lord our God has commanded you?’

And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord our God hath commanded you?

“When your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What do the testimonies and the statutes and the judgments mean which the Lord our God commanded you?’

Later on, your child might ask you, “What is the meaning of the terms, rules and laws the Lord our God has commanded you to obey?”

In the future, when your son asks you, “What is the meaning of the stipulations, decrees and laws the Lord our God has commanded you?”

In the future, when your son asks you, ‘What is the meaning of the stipulations, decrees and laws the Lord our God has commanded you?’

“In the future your children will ask you, ‘What is the meaning of these laws, decrees, and regulations that the Lord our God has commanded us to obey?’

وَإذَا سَأَلَكُمْ أَبْنَاؤُكُمْ فِي مُسْتَقْبَلِ الأَيَّامِ: مَا هِيَ الشُّرُوطُ وَالْفَرَائِضُ وَالأَحْكَامُ الَّتِي أَمَرَكُمْ بِها الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا؟

Når jeres sønner i fremtiden spørger jer: ‚Hvad er hensigten med de love og forordninger, Herren, vores Gud, har givet os?’

Später werden euch eure Kinder fragen: »Warum hat der Herr, unser Gott, euch all diese Gesetze, Weisungen und Ordnungen gegeben?«

»En el futuro, cuando tu hijo te pregunte: “¿Qué significan los mandatos, preceptos y normas que el Señor nuestro Dios os mandó?”,

“Sa palaabuton kon magpamangkot gani ang inyo kabataan, ‘Ano bala ang buot silingon sang mga pagpanudlo, mga pagsulundan, kag mga kasuguan nga ginmando sa inyo sang Ginoo nga aton Dios?’

いつか息子たちが、『どうして神様は、このような教え（律法）を私たちに与えたのですか』と尋ねたら、 21-22 こう答えてあげなさい。『私たちイスラエル人は昔、エジプトで王の奴隷だった。その私たちを、主はとても考えられないような奇跡を起こして、そこから助け出してくださったのだ。その大いなるわざに、王をはじめエジプト中の人々が驚き、震え上がるのを、私たちはこの目ではっきり見た。

“훗날 여러분의 자녀들이 ‘우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리에게 이 모든 법을 지키라고 명령하신 목적이 무엇입니까?’ 하고 물으면

Als uw zoon later aan u vraagt: “Wat is het nut van de wetten die de Here, onze God, ons heeft gegeven?”,

“No futuro, quando os seus filhos lhes perguntarem: ‘O que significam estes preceitos, decretos e ordenanças que o Senhor, o nosso Deus, ordenou a vocês?’

Nos tempos vindouros, quando os vossos filhos vos perguntarem: “Para que servem todas estas leis, mandamentos e preceitos que o Senhor, nosso Deus, nos deu?”,

Când fiul tău te va întreba într-o zi: «Ce înseamnă aceste mărturii, legi şi hotărâri, pe care Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, ţi le-a dat?»,

В будущем, когда твой сын спросит тебя: «Каков смысл заповедей, установлений и законов, которые Вечный, наш Бог, повелел вам?» –

När ditt barn i framtiden frågar dig: ”Vad är meningen med alla de befallningar, föreskrifter och stadgar som Herren, vår Gud, har gett er?”

ในอนาคตเมื่อลูกหลานของท่านถามว่า “ข้อกำหนด กฎหมาย และบทบัญญัติที่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของเราทรงบัญชาไว้นี้มีความหมายอย่างไร?”

“将来你们的子孙会问，‘我们的上帝耶和华给你们颁布这些法度、律例和典章是什么意思？’

日 後 ， 你 的 儿 子 问 你 说 ： 耶 和 华 ─ 我 们 神 吩 咐 你 们 的 这 些 法 度 、 律 例 、 典 章 是 甚 麽 意 思 呢 ？

「將來你們的子孫會問，『我們的上帝耶和華給你們頒佈這些法度、律例和典章是什麼意思？』
