Deuteronomy 6:16

“You shall not put the Lord your God to the test, as you tested Him at Massah.

Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.

لَا تَمْتَحِنُوا صَبْرَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ، كَمَا امْتَحَنْتُمُوهُ فِي مَسَّةَ.

I må ikke provokere Herren, jeres Gud, som dengang jeres forældre gjorde oprør mod ham ved Massa.
