Deuteronomy 4:10

especially the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb (Mount Sinai), when the Lord said to me, ‘Assemble the people to Me and I will let them hear My words, so that they may learn to fear Me [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect] all the days they live on the land, and so that they may teach their children.’

Specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

That day when you stood before God, your God, at Horeb, God said to me, “Assemble the people in my presence to listen to my words so that they will learn to fear me in holy fear for as long as they live on the land, and then they will teach these same words to their children.” 11-13 You gathered. You stood in the shadow of the mountain. The mountain was ablaze with fire, blazing high into the very heart of Heaven. You stood in deep darkness and thick clouds. God spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but you saw nothing—no form, only a voice. He announced his covenant, the Ten Words, by which he commanded you to live. Then he wrote them down on two slabs of stone.

Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to me, ‘Assemble the people to Me, that I may let them hear My words so they may learn to [b]fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.’

Remember the day you stood at Mount Horeb. The Lord your God was there. He said to me, “Bring the people to me to hear my words. I want them to learn to have respect for me as long as they live in the land. I want them to teach my words to their children.”

فَفِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي مَثَلْتُمْ فِيهِ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ فِي جَبَلِ حُورِيبَ، حِينَ قَالَ لِي الرَّبُّ: اجْمَعْ لِيَ الشَّعْبَ حَتَّى أُسْمِعَهُمْ كَلامِي، فَيَتَعَلَّمُوا مَخَافَتِي طَوَالَ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِهِمْ عَلَى الأَرْضِ، وَيُعَلِّمُوا أَوْلادَهُمْ أَيْضاً.

特に、ホレブ山（シナイ山）で主の前に立った日のことは大事です。その時、主は私にこう言われました。『人々を集めなさい。わたしを大切にし、わたしのことばを子どもたちに教えられるように、まずわたしが、彼らに聞かせよう。』

여러분이 시내산에서 여러분의 하나님 여호와 앞에 섰던 날을 기억하십시오. 그때 여호와께서는 나에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. ‘너는 백성을 내 앞에 모아라. 그들이 내 말을 듣고 평생 나를 받들어 섬기는 법을 배워 그들의 자녀들에게 가르치도록 하겠다.’
