Deuteronomy 33:29

“Happy and blessed are you, O Israel;Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord,The Shield of your help,And the Sword of your majesty!Your enemies will cringe before you,And you will tread on their high places [tramping down their idolatrous altars].”

Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

Lucky Israel! Who has it as good as you? A people saved by God!The Shield who defends you, the Sword who brings triumph.Your enemies will come crawling on their bellies and you’ll march on their backs.

Israel, how blessed you are! Who is like you? The Lord has saved you.He keeps you safe. He helps you. He’s like a glorious sword to you.Your enemies will bow down to you in fear. You will walk on the highest places of their lands.”

طُوبَاكُمْ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، أَيُّ شَعْبٍ مِثْلُكُمْ مُنْتَصِرٌ بِالرَّبِّ؟ إِنَّهُ تُرْسُكُمْ وَعَوْنُكُمْ وَسَيْفُكُمُ الْمَجِيدُ. لَكُمْ يَخْضَعُ أَعْدَاؤُكُمْ، وَأَنْتُمْ تَطَأُونَ مُرْتَفَعَاتِهِمْ».

Israel, hvor er du velsignet, et folk, der befries af Herren selv.Han er dit skjold og din redning, han er dit sejrende sværd.Dine fjender bøjer sig i støvet for dig, men du udsletter dem.[d]

Ihr Israeliten könnt euch glücklich schätzen! Wer hat es so gut wie ihr? Ihr seid das Volk, das der Herr gerettet hat. Er beschützt euch wie ein Schild, und im Kampf ist er euer Schwert. Er bringt euch zu hohem Ansehen. Eure Feinde müssen sich vor euch verbeugen, und ihr besitzt ihr ganzes Land[h].«

Que tu es heureux, Israël, |car qui est comme toiun peuple secouru |par l’Eternel lui-même ?Il est le bouclier |qui vient à ton secours,il est aussi le glaive |qui te mène au triomphe !Tes ennemis te flatteront,mais toi, tu marcheras |sur les hauteurs de leur pays.

Bulahan kamo, O katawhan sang Israel!Wala sing pareho sa inyo—isa ka katawhan nga ginluwas sang Ginoo.Ang Ginoo amo ang magaprotektar kag magabulig sa inyo,kag siya ang magapakig-away para sa inyo.Magakamang ang inyo mga kaaway pakadto sa inyo, kag tapakon ninyo sila sa likod.”[f]

幸せなイスラエル。これほど主に祝福されるとは。これほど主に助けられた国がほかにあるでしょうか。主はあなたを守る盾、あなたを助ける剣です。敵はあなたの前で小さくなり、あなたは難なくその背中を踏みつけます。」

이스라엘이여, 너는 정말 행복한 자이다. 너처럼 여호와의 구원을 받은 민족이 어디 있느냐? 그는 너의 방패와 칼이 되어 너를 지키고 너에게 승리를 주시는 분이시니 네 원수들이 네 앞에서 굴복할 것이며 네가 그들을 짓밟으리라.”

Fericit eşti tu, Israel! Cine este ca tine, un popor mântuit de Domnul?El este scutul şi ajutorul tău şi sabia ta glorioasă.Duşmanii tăi te vor linguşi şi tu vei călca peste înălţimile lor[j].“
