Deuteronomy 31:20

For when I bring them into the land which I have sworn to their fathers, a land [of plenty] [d]flowing with milk and honey, and they have eaten and are satisfied and become prosperous, then they will turn to other gods and serve them, and despise and reject Me and break My covenant.

For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.

For when I bring them into the land flowing with milk and honey, which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and are satisfied and become [g]prosperous, then they will turn to other gods and serve them, and spurn Me and break My covenant.

I will bring them into a land that has plenty of milk and honey. I promised the land to their people of long ago. In that land they will eat until they have had enough. They will get fat. When they do, they will turn to other gods and worship them. They will turn their backs on me. They will break my covenant.

When I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and honey, the land I promised on oath to their ancestors, and when they eat their fill and thrive, they will turn to other gods and worship them, rejecting me and breaking my covenant.

لأَنِّي حَالَمَا أُدْخِلُهُمْ إِلَى الأَرْضِ الَّتِي تَفِيضُ لَبَناً وَعَسَلاً، هَذِهِ الأَرْضِ الَّتِي حَلَفْتُ أَنْ تَكُونَ لِآبَائِهِمْ، فَيَأْكُلُونَ وَيَشْبَعُونَ وَيَسْمَنُونَ، فَإِنَّهُمْ يَسْعَوْنَ وَرَاءَ آلِهَةٍ أُخْرَى وَيَعْبُدُونَهَا وَيَزْدَرُونَ بِي نَاقِضِينَ عَهْدِي.

Jeg vil føre dem ind i det land, jeg lovede deres forfædre, et land der ‚flyder med mælk og honning’. De vil opleve fremgang og velstand, men derefter vil de bryde min pagt ved at dyrke fremmede guder.

Ich bringe die Israeliten jetzt in das Land, das ich ihren Vorfahren versprochen habe, ein Land, in dem es selbst Milch und Honig im Überfluss gibt. Sie werden dort essen, bis sie satt sind, ja, bis sie fett werden! Sie werden mich verachten und sich anderen Göttern zuwenden. Den Bund mit mir werden sie brechen und den Götzen dienen.

En effet, je les ferai entrer dans le pays où ruissellent le lait et le miel, que j’ai promis par serment à leurs ancêtres : ils y mangeront à satiété et vivront dans l’abondance ; alors ils se tourneront vers d’autres dieux et leur rendront un culte, ils m’irriteront et violeront mon alliance.

Didto magakabuhi sila nga mabuganaon; magakaon sila sang tanan nga pagkaon nga luyag nila, kag mabusog gid sila. Pero magabiya sila sa akon kag magasimba sa iban nga mga dios. Lapason nila ang akon kasugtanan.

彼らの先祖に約束した乳とみつの流れる地で順調にいき、ぜいたくに慣れてくると、彼らはわたしをうとみ、平然と契約を破り、外国の神々を拝むようになるからだ。

När jag har fört dem in i det land jag med ed lovade deras förfäder, ett land som flyter av mjölk och honung, och de äter och mår bra, kommer de att börja tillbe och tjäna andra gudar. De kommer att förakta mig och bryta förbundet med mig.
