Deuteronomy 24:16

“The fathers shall not be put to death for [the sins of] their children, nor shall the children be put to death for their fathers; [only] for his own sin shall anyone be put to death.

The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Parents shall not be put to death for their children, nor children for their parents. Each person shall be put to death for his own sin. 17-18 Make sure foreigners and orphans get their just rights. Don’t take the cloak of a widow as security for a loan. Don’t ever forget that you were once slaves in Egypt and God, your God, got you out of there. I command you: Do what I’m telling you. 19-22 When you harvest your grain and forget a sheaf back in the field, don’t go back and get it; leave it for the foreigner, the orphan, and the widow so that God, your God, will bless you in all your work. When you shake the olives off your trees, don’t go back over the branches and strip them bare—what’s left is for the foreigner, the orphan, and the widow. And when you cut the grapes in your vineyard, don’t take every last grape—leave a few for the foreigner, the orphan, and the widow. Don’t ever forget that you were a slave in Egypt. I command you: Do what I’m telling you.

لَا يُقْتَلُ الآبَاءُ عِوَضاً عَنِ الأَبْنَاءِ، وَلا يُقْتَلُ الأَبْنَاءُ بَدَلاً مِنَ الآبَاءِ، فَكُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ يَتَحَمَّلُ وِزْرَ نَفْسِهِ.

Forældre må ikke straffes for deres børns synder, og børn må ikke straffes for deres forældres synder. Dødsstraf kan kun idømmes den, der selv er ansvarlig for sin forbrydelse.

父親が子どもの罪で死刑になることはなく、子どもも父親の罪で死刑になることはありません。人が死刑になるのは自分の罪のためです。

“아버지가 자식의 죄로 죽음을 당해서는 안 되며 자식이 아버지의 죄로 죽음을 당하는 일이 있어서도 안 됩니다. 사람은 각자 자기가 범한 죄에 대해서만 죽음을 당해야 합니다.

Vaders mogen niet ter dood worden gebracht voor de zonden van hun zonen en zonen niet voor de zonden van hun vaders, iedere schuldige zal voor zijn eigen zonde ter dood worden gebracht.

Föräldrarna får inte dödas för sina barns synder och barn ska inte dödas för synder som deras föräldrar har begått. Var och en ska dö för sitt eget brott.
