Deuteronomy 24:1

“When a man takes a wife and marries her, and it happens that she [a]loses his favor because he has found something indecent or unacceptable about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house,

When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

1-4 If a man marries a woman and then it happens that he no longer likes her because he has found something wrong with her, he may give her divorce papers, put them in her hand, and send her off. After she leaves, if she becomes another man’s wife and he also comes to hate her and this second husband also gives her divorce papers, puts them in her hand, and sends her off, or if he should die, then the first husband who divorced her can’t marry her again. She has made herself ritually unclean, and her remarriage would be an abomination in the Presence of God and defile the land with sin, this land that God, your God, is giving you as an inheritance.

Suppose a man marries a woman. But later he decides he doesn’t like her. He finds something shameful about her. So he gives her a letter of divorce and sends her away from his house.

“Suppose a man marries a woman but she does not please him. Having discovered something wrong with her, he writes a document of divorce, hands it to her, and sends her away from his house.

إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ فَتَاةٍ وَلَمْ تَرُقْ لَهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لأَنَّهُ اكْتَشَفَ فِيهَا عَيْباً مَا، وَأَعْطَاهَا كِتَابَ طَلاقٍ وَصَرَفَهَا مِنْ بَيْتِهِ،

Hvis en mand gifter sig, og hvis hans kone senere falder i unåde hos ham, fordi han opdager, at hun har gjort noget usømmeligt, kan han give hende et skilsmissebrev og derefter sende hende bort.

Es kann vorkommen, dass ein verheirateter Mann an seiner Frau etwas Anstößiges findet[a] und ihm nichts mehr an ihr liegt. Er schreibt ihr eine Scheidungsurkunde und schickt sie weg.

Supposons qu’un homme ait épousé une femme et que, plus tard, il cesse de la considérer avec faveur parce qu’il trouve quelque chose d’infâme à lui reprocher. Alors il rédige une lettre de divorce, il la lui remet et la renvoie de chez lui[a].

“Halimbawa, nagpangasawa ang isa ka lalaki, kag sang ulihi nadula ang iya luyag sa iya asawa kay may natukiban siya sa iya asawa nga wala niya naluyagi. Gani naghimo siya sang kasulatan sang pagbulagay kag ginhatag sa iya asawa, kag ginpahalin niya siya sa iya balay.

妻のことで何か恥ずべきことがあり、気に入らないことがあったら、離縁状を渡して去らせなさい。

“어떤 남자가 어느 여자와 결혼하였는데 만일 그 여자에게 어떤 부정한 일이 발견되어 싫어지면 이혼 증서를 써 주고 그녀를 그 집에서 내보내도록 하십시오.

‘Als een vrouw haar man totaal niet bevalt en er is volgens hem iets schandelijks op haar aan te merken, mag hij een brief schrijven waarin hij verklaart dat hij van haar scheidt, hij geeft haar die brief en mag haar dan wegsturen.

“Se um homem casar-se com uma mulher e depois não a quiser mais por encontrar nela algo que ele reprova, dará certidão de divórcio à mulher e a mandará embora.

Se um homem escolhe uma mulher e casa com ela, mas depois quer deixá-la, porque encontrou nela qualquer coisa que lhe desagrade ou seja indecente, dar-lhe-á uma declaração de divórcio; depois de lha entregar pode mandá-la embora.

Dacă un bărbat se va căsători cu o femeie şi se va întâmpla ca ea să nu mai găsească bunăvoinţă în ochii lui, pentru că acesta a descoperit ceva ruşinos la ea, să-i scrie o carte de despărţire, să i-o dea în mână şi s-o lase să plece din casa lui.

Det kan hända att en man, efter att han har gift sig, inte längre ser med välvilja på sin hustru, eftersom han finner något motbjudande hos henne. Han skriver ett skilsmässobrev, ger henne det och skickar iväg henne

ชายใดไม่พึงพอใจภรรยาเพราะข้อบกพร่องต่างๆ ให้เขียนหนังสือหย่ามอบแก่นางและส่งตัวนางออกไปจากบ้านของเขา

“如果有人娶妻后，发觉妻子行为不检，因而嫌弃她，他可以写休书给她，让她离开夫家。

人 若 娶 妻 以 後 ， 见 他 有 甚 麽 不 合 理 的 事 ， 不 喜 悦 他 ， 就 可 以 写 休 书 交 在 他 手 中 ， 打 发 他 离 开 夫 家 。

「如果有人娶妻後，發覺妻子行為不檢，因而嫌棄她，他可以寫休書給她，讓她離開夫家。
