Deuteronomy 22:6

“If you happen to come upon a bird’s nest along the road, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, and the mother [bird] is sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young.

If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:

إِنِ اتَّفَقَ أَنْ رَأَيْتَ عُشَّ طَائِرٍ عَلَى جَانِبِ الأَرْضِ أَوْ عَلَى شَجَرَةٍ مَا أَوْ مُلْقىً عَلَى الأَرْضِ فِيهِ أُمٌّ تَحْتَضِنُ فِرَاخاً، أَوْ تَرْقُدُ عَلَى بَيْضٍ، فَلا تَأْخُذِ الأُمَّ مَعَ الأَوْلادِ.

Hvis du får øje på en fuglerede enten på jorden eller i et træ, og der er unger i reden, eller fuglen er ved at ruge æggene ud, må du ikke tage både fuglemor og ungerne.
