Deuteronomy 21:5

Then the priests, the sons of Levi, shall approach, for the Lord your God has chosen them to serve Him and to bless in the Name (Presence) of the Lord; and every dispute and every assault (violent crime) shall be settled by them.

And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the Lord thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the Lord; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried:

ثُمَّ يَتَقَدَّمُ الْكَهَنَةُ بَنُو لاوِي، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ قَدِ اخْتَارَهُمْ لِخِدْمَتِهِ، وَلإِعْلانِ الْبَرَكَةِ بِاسْمِ الرَّبِّ، وَلِلْقَضَاءِ فِي كُلِّ خُصُومَةٍ وَكُلِّ ضَرْبَةٍ.

Præsterne skal være til stede, for det er deres opgave at fælde dom i retssager, hvor der er tale om vold. Herren har udvalgt dem til at stå for tjenesten ved helligdommen og til at velsigne på hans vegne.

Sedan ska prästerna, Levis söner, träda fram. Dem har Herren, din Gud, utsett till att göra tjänst inför honom och till att uttala välsignelser i Herrens namn och bestämma om olika tvister och brottmål.
