Deuteronomy 21:1

“If someone is found slain, lying in the field, in the land which the Lord your God gives you to possess, and it is not known who has killed him,

If one be found slain in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath slain him:

1-8 If a dead body is found on the ground, this ground that God, your God, has given you, lying out in the open, and no one knows who killed him, your leaders and judges are to go out and measure the distance from the body to the nearest cities. The leaders and judges of the city that is nearest the corpse will then take a heifer that has never been used for work, never had a yoke on it. The leaders will take the heifer to a valley with a stream, a valley that has never been plowed or planted, and there break the neck of the heifer. The Levitical priests will then step up. God has chosen them to serve him in these matters by settling legal disputes and violent crimes and by pronouncing blessings in God’s name. Finally, all the leaders of that town that is nearest the body will wash their hands over the heifer that had its neck broken at the stream and say, “We didn’t kill this man and we didn’t see who did it. Purify your people Israel whom you redeemed, O God. Clear your people Israel from any guilt in this murder.” 8-9 That will clear them from any responsibility in the murder. By following these procedures you will have absolved yourselves of any part in the murder because you will have done what is right in God’s sight.

“When you are in the land the Lord your God is giving you, someone may be found murdered in a field, and you don’t know who committed the murder.

إِذَا وَجَدْتُمْ قَتِيلاً مُلْقىً فِي الْحَقْلِ فِي الأَرْضِ الَّتِي يَهَبُهَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ لَكُمْ لاِمْتِلاكِهَا، وَلَمْ يُعْرَفْ قَاتِلُهُ.

Når I har bosat jer i landet, og I finder en mand, der ligger myrdet på marken, uden at I er klar over, hvem gerningsmanden er,

Wenn ihr in dem Land, das der Herr, euer Gott, euch gibt, draußen auf dem Feld einen Toten findet und den Mörder nicht kennt,

“Halimbawa may bangkay sang tawo nga nakita sa duta nga ginahatag sa inyo sang Ginoo nga inyo Dios nga inyo panag-iyahan, kag wala mahibalui kon sin-o ang nagpatay sini.

主の与えてくださった約束の地で殺人事件があり、被害者は町の外で発見され、現場を目撃した者がいない場合は次のようにしなさい。

“여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 주시는 땅에서 피살된 시체가 들에 있는 것이 발견되었는데도 살인자가 누군지 알지 못하면

‘Als—eenmaal aangekomen in het beloofde land—ergens in het veld een vermoorde man wordt gevonden en niemand heeft de moordenaar gezien,

Om någon hittar en ihjälslagen man ute på marken i det land som Herren, din Gud, vill ge dig och ingen vet vem mördaren är,

在 耶 和 华 ─ 你 神 所 赐 你 为 业 的 地 上 ， 若 遇 见 被 杀 的 人 倒 在 田 野 ， 不 知 道 是 谁 杀 的 ，

「在你們的上帝耶和華將要賜給你們的土地上，如果發現有人被殺，陳屍野外，卻不知道兇手是誰，
