Deuteronomy 20:5

The officers shall also speak to the [a]soldiers, saying, ‘What man is there who has built a new house and has not yet [b]dedicated it? [c]Let him go and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would dedicate it.

And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.

The officers also shall speak to the people, saying, ‘Who is the man that has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would dedicate it.

The officers will speak to the army. They will say, “Has anyone built a new house and not started to live in it? Let him go home. If he doesn’t, he might die in battle. Then someone else will live in his house.

The officers shall say to the army: “Has anyone built a new house and not yet begun to live in it? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else may begin to live in it.

“Then the officers of the army must address the troops and say, ‘Has anyone here just built a new house but not yet dedicated it? If so, you may go home! You might be killed in the battle, and someone else would dedicate your house.

ثُمَّ يَقُولُ الْقَادَةُ لِلْجَيْشِ: هَلْ بَيْنَكُمْ مَنْ بَنَى بَيْتاً جَدِيداً وَلَمْ يُدَشِّنْهُ بَعْدُ؟ فَلْيَرْجِعْ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ، لِئَلّا يُقْتَلَ فِي الْمَعْرَكَةِ فَيُدَشِّنَهُ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ.

Derefter skal hærførerne tage ordet og sige: ‚Er der nogen, som netop har bygget sig et hus, men ikke har indviet det endnu? I så fald skal han vende hjem, for hvis han dør i kampen, bliver det en anden, der kommer til at indvi det.

Ensuite les officiers s’adresseront aux soldats en ces termes : « Y a-t-il parmi vous quelqu’un qui vient de bâtir une maison et n’y a pas encore habité ? Qu’il rentre chez lui, pour qu’il ne meure pas au combat et qu’un autre n’y habite pas le premier.

“Dayon masiling ang mga opisyal sa mga soldado, ‘Kon may ara sa inyo nga bag-o lang nakapatindog sang iya balay kag wala pa niya ini madedikar sa Ginoo, magpauli siya kay basi bala mapatay siya sa inaway kag ang iban nga tawo ang magdedikar sang iya balay.

続いて司令官は民に勧めなさい。『家を建てたばかりで、まだそれを奉献していない者はいないか。戦死でもして、ほかの者がその家を奉献することにならないように、すぐ家へ帰りなさい。

“그리고 지휘관들은 자기 부하들에게 이렇게 말하십시오. ‘새 집을 짓고 준공식을 갖지 못한 자가 있느냐? 그런 사람은 집으로 돌아가거라! 그가 만일 전사하게 되면 다른 사람이 준공식을 갖게 될 것이다.

Então os oficiais do exército dirigir-se-ão aos seus homens desta maneira: “Há alguém que acaba de construir uma casa nova, mas que ainda a não consagrou? Então que volte para casa. Porque pode morrer na batalha e seria outra pessoa que a consagraria.

Sedan ska folkets ledare[b] säga till soldaterna: ”Om någon av er alldeles nyligen byggt ett hus men inte hunnit flytta in i det, då ska han vända hem igen. Han kan ju stupa i striden och då blir det någon annan som får flytta in där.

แล้วแม่ทัพนายกองจะกล่าวแก่กองทัพว่า “มีใครบ้างที่เพิ่งสร้างบ้านใหม่ แต่ยังไม่ได้ทำพิธีถวาย? ถ้ามีจงกลับไปบ้าน เพราะท่านอาจจะตายในสงคราม แล้วคนอื่นจะมาทำพิธีถวายแทน

官长要对士兵说，‘你们谁建了新房子还没有举行奉献礼[a]？他可以回家去，以免他阵亡了，别人为他的房子举行奉献礼。

官 长 也 要 对 百 姓 宣 告 说 ： 谁 建 造 房 屋 ， 尚 未 奉 献 ， 他 可 以 回 家 去 ， 恐 怕 他 阵 亡 ， 别 人 去 奉 献 。

官長要對士兵說，『你們誰建了新房子還沒有舉行奉獻禮[a]？他可以回家去，以免他陣亡了，別人為他的房子舉行奉獻禮。
