Deuteronomy 19:1

“When the Lord your God cuts off (destroys) the nations whose land He is giving you, and you dispossess them and live in their cities and in their houses,

When the Lord thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the Lord thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses;

1-3 When God, your God, throws the nations out of the country that God, your God, is giving you and you settle down in their cities and houses, you are to set aside three easily accessible cities in the land that God, your God, is giving you as your very own. Divide your land into thirds, this land that God, your God, is giving you to possess, and build roads to the towns so that anyone who accidentally kills another can flee there.

The Lord your God will destroy the nations whose land he is giving you. You will drive them out. And you will make your homes in their towns and their houses.

“When the Lord your God destroys the nations whose land he is giving you, you will take over their land and settle in their towns and homes.

مَتَى أَفْنَى الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمُ الأُمَمَ الَّذِينَ سَيُوَرِّثُكُمْ أَرْضَهُمْ، وَسَكَنْتُمْ فِي مُدُنِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِهِمْ،

Når Herren, jeres Gud, har udryddet landets befolkning, og I slår jer ned i deres byer og huse, 2-3 skal I udvælge tre tilflugtsbyer, hvor drabsmænd kan søge tilflugt. Opdel landet i tre distrikter med en tilflugtsby i hvert distrikt, og sørg for, at vejene dertil er farbare.

あなたの神、主があなたのものになる地の国々をすべて滅ぼし、あなたがその町々に住むようになったら、 2-3 避難用の町を三つ確保しなさい。過って人を殺した者が安全に逃げ込めるようにするためです。国を三つに区分し、各地域に一つずつ避難用の町を設けます。町に通じる道はよく補修しておきなさい。

“여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분이 쫓아낼 민족들을 멸망시키시 고 여러분이 그 땅을 차지하여 그들의 성과 집에 살게 될 때에 2-3 여러분은 여호와 하나님이 여러분에게 주신 땅을 세 구역으로 나누어 각 구역마다 도피성을 하나씩 마련하여 쉽게 드나들 수 있도록 길을 닦아 놓고 살인자가 그 곳으로 피신하게 하십시오.
