Deuteronomy 17:20

so that his heart will not be lifted up above his countrymen [by a false sense of self-importance and self-reliance] and that he will not turn away (deviate) from the commandment, to the right or to the left, so that he and his sons may continue [to reign] for a long time in his kingdom in Israel.

He won’t think of himself as being better than his people are. He won’t turn away from the law. He won’t turn to the right or the left. Then he and his sons after him will rule over his kingdom in Israel for a long time.

This regular reading will prevent him from becoming proud and acting as if he is above his fellow citizens. It will also prevent him from turning away from these commands in the smallest way. And it will ensure that he and his descendants will reign for many generations in Israel.

لِئَلّا يَتَكَبَّرَ عَلَى إِخْوَتِهِ وَيَحِيدَ عَنِ الْوَصِيَّةِ يَمِيناً أَوْ شِمَالاً. فَإِنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّهُ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُ يَمْلِكُونَ طَوِيلاً فِي وَسَطِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

Das wird ihn davor bewahren, sich für wichtiger zu halten als die anderen Menschen aus seinem Volk. Wenn er in keiner Hinsicht von diesen Geboten abweicht, werden er und seine Nachkommen lange Zeit in Israel Könige sein.

毎日、規則的に読み続けていけば、民を見下したり、神のおきてからそれたりしません。長い間りっぱに国を治め、王位は何代のちまでも、子孫に受け継がれます。

그러면 그가 다른 사람보다 낫다는 교만한 마음을 품지 않게 되고 어떤 경우에도 여호와의 명령을 어기는 일이 없을 것입니다. 그렇게 함으로써 그와 그 후손이 이스라엘을 오랫동안 통치하게 될 것입니다.”

Het regelmatig lezen in Gods wetten zal ervoor zorgen dat hij zich niet boven zijn onderdanen gaat verheffen. Ook zal dat hem ervan weerhouden af te dwalen van Gods wetten, zodat hij en zijn zonen een lange en goede regeringsperiode zullen hebben.’

Detta ska hindra honom från att anse sig vara bättre än sina bröder och han ska alltid följa lagen utan att vika från den åt något håll. Hans och hans söner ska då regera länge i Israel.

เพื่อเขาจะไม่ถือว่าตัวเองดีกว่าพี่น้องร่วมชาติและหันเหจากบทบัญญัติไปทางขวาหรือทางซ้าย แล้วเขากับวงศ์วานจะได้ครอบครองราชบัลลังก์ในอิสราเอลยาวนานสืบไป

这样，他就不会妄自尊大，违背诫命，他和他的子孙就可以长久统治以色列。
