Deuteronomy 12:31

You shall not behave this way toward the Lord your God, for they have done for their gods every repulsive thing which the Lord hates; for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire [as sacrifices] to their gods.

Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

لَا تَصْنَعْ هَكَذَا لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ، لأَنَّهُمْ قَدِ ارْتَكَبُوا فِي عِبَادَةِ آلِهَتِهِمْ كُلَّ مَا يَمْقُتُهُ الرَّبُّ مِنَ الأَرْجَاسِ، إِذْ أَحْرَقُوا بِالنَّارِ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ وَبَنَاتِهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ آلِهَتِهِمْ،

De dyrker deres guder på en måde, som Herren hader. De brænder tilmed deres egne børn til ære for deres guder. Hvor afskyeligt!

Non, vous n’agirez pas ainsi envers l’Eternel votre Dieu. Car ces gens faisaient pour leurs dieux toutes sortes de choses que l’Eternel a en abomination et qu’il déteste ; ils allaient même jusqu’à brûler leurs fils et leurs filles en sacrifice à leurs dieux[d].

Indi gid ninyo paghimua ina sa pagsimba sa Ginoo nga inyo Dios, kay sa ila pagsimba ginahimo nila ang tanan nga klase sang makangilil-ad nga butang nga ginakaugtan sang Ginoo. Ginasunog pa gani nila ang ila mga kabataan bilang halad sa ila mga dios.

それはほかでもない、あなたがたの神、主を侮辱することだからです。それらの国々は宗教の名を借りて、主の憎まれる忌まわしいことをしてきました。子どもを神々のいけにえとしてささげ、火で焼き殺しさえしたのです。

U mag de Here, uw God, niet op die manier beledigen! Deze volken hebben voor hun goden afschuwelijke dingen gedaan die de Here haat. Zij hebben zelfs hun kinderen in het vuur aan hun goden geofferd.

Não adorem o Senhor, o seu Deus, da maneira como fazem essas nações, porque, ao adorarem os seus deuses, elas fazem todo tipo de coisas repugnantes que o Senhor odeia, como queimar seus filhos e filhas no fogo em sacrifícios aos seus deuses.

Fazer isso seria o mesmo que insultar o Senhor, vosso Deus. Essas nações fazem coisas abomináveis que ele odeia; e tudo em nome da sua religião! Chegaram a queimar os próprios filhos e filhas, sacrificando-os aos seus deuses.

Du får inte tillbe Herren, din Gud, på det sättet. I sin tillbedjan har dessa folk gjort avskyvärda saker som Herren hatar. De har till och med bränt upp sina söner och döttrar som offer till sina gudar.
