Daniel 6:12

Then they approached and spoke before the king regarding his injunction, “Have you not signed an injunction that anyone who petitions (prays to) any god or man except you, O king, within the designated thirty days, is to be thrown into the den of lions?” The king answered, “The statement is true, in accordance with the law of the Medes and Persians, which may not be altered or revoked.”

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Then they approached and spoke before the king about the king’s injunction, “Did you not sign an injunction that any man who makes a petition to any god or man besides you, O king, for thirty days, is to be cast into the lions’ den?” The king replied, “The statement is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which [j]may not be revoked.”

So they went to the king. They spoke to him about his royal order. They said, “Your Majesty, didn’t you sign an official order? It said that for the next 30 days your people could pray only to you. They could not pray to anyone else, whether god or human being. If they did, they would be thrown into the lions’ den.”The king answered, “The order must still be obeyed. It’s what the law of the Medes and Persians requires. So it can’t be changed.”

So they went to the king and spoke to him about his royal decree: “Did you not publish a decree that during the next thirty days anyone who prays to any god or human being except to you, Your Majesty, would be thrown into the lions’ den?”The king answered, “The decree stands—in accordance with the law of the Medes and Persians, which cannot be repealed.”

So they went straight to the king and reminded him about his law. “Did you not sign a law that for the next thirty days any person who prays to anyone, divine or human—except to you, Your Majesty—will be thrown into the den of lions?”“Yes,” the king replied, “that decision stands; it is an official law of the Medes and Persians that cannot be revoked.”

فَمَثَلُوا فِي حَضْرَةِ الْمَلِكِ وَتَبَاحَثُوا فِي أَمْرِهِ الَّذِي صَدَرَ، وَقَالُوا: «أَلَمْ تُوَقِّعْ أَيُّهَا الْمَلِكُ أَمْراً يَحْظُرُ عَلَى كُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ رَفْعَ طَلَبٍ إِلَى إِلَهٍ أَوْ إِنْسَانٍ سِوَاكَ مُدَّةَ ثَلاثِينَ يَوْماً، وَمَنْ يُخَالِفُ ذَلِكَ يُطْرَحُ فِي جُبِّ الأُسُودِ؟» فَأَجَابَ الْمَلِكُ: «الأَمْرُ صَحِيحٌ كَشَرِيعَةِ مَادِي وَفَارِسَ الَّتِي لَا تُنْسَخُ».

De misundelige embedsmænd stormede da ind i Daniels hus og fandt ham i færd med at bede til Gud.

Alors ces hommes firent irruption chez lui et le surprirent en train d’invoquer et d’implorer son Dieu.

Gani nagkadto sila sa hari agod isugid ang paglapas ni Daniel sa kasuguan. Nagsiling sila sa hari, “Indi bala, Mahal nga Hari, nga nagpirma ka sang kasuguan nga sa sulod sang 30 ka adlaw wala sing may magpangamuyo sa kay bisan sin-o nga dios ukon tawo kundi sa imo lang? Kag ang bisan sin-o nga maglapas sang sadto nga sugo ihulog sa buho nga may mga leon?” Nagsabat ang hari, “Matuod ina, kag suno sa kasuguan sang aton ginharian nga Media kag Persia, indi na gid ina puwede liwaton ukon dulaon.”

彼らは王のもとに急ぎ、あの法律について念を押しました。「王は、向こう三十日間、王以外のどんな神にも人にも祈りをささげてはならないという法律に署名なさいました。その法律に背く者は、ライオンの餌食にされるのでしたね。」「そのとおりだ。変更も取り消しもできない『メディヤとペルシヤの法律』だ。」

왕에게 가서 말하였다. “왕이시여, 대왕께서는 이미 금령에 어인을 찍어서 지금부터 30일 동안 누구든지 왕 외에 어느 신에게나 사람에게 기도하면 사자굴에 던져 넣기로 하지 않았습니까?” 그러자 왕이 “그것은 아무도 고칠 수 없는 메디아와 페르시아의 법으로 정한 것이다” 하고 대답하였다.

Toen drongen de mannen Daniëls huis binnen en vonden hem terwijl hij bad tot God.

Correram de novo para junto do soberano e lembraram-lhe a lei que acabara de fazer. “Não assinaste tu um decreto segundo o qual era proibido fazer qualquer petição a um deus ou a algum homem, que não fosse a ti, e isto durante trinta dias? E que se alguém desobedecesse a esta lei seria lançado na cova dos leões?”“Sim, é verdade, é uma lei dos medos e dos persas que se não pode revogar!”

De gick till kungen och tog upp det kungliga påbudet: ”Har inte du utfärdat ett påbud att den som under de närmaste trettio dagarna tillber någon annan, gud eller människa, än dig, o kung, ska kastas i lejongropen?” ”Jo”, svarade kungen, ”det är fastställt enligt Mediens och Persiens lag, som inte kan återkallas.”

便去见王，提及王的禁令，说：“王啊，你不是签署禁令，三十天内，任何人不得向王以外的神明或人祷告，违者必被扔进狮子坑吗？”王说：“确有此事，按照玛代人和波斯人的律，这禁令不可更改。”

他 们 便 进 到 王 前 ， 提 王 的 禁 令 ， 说 ： 王 啊 ， 三 十 日 内 不 拘 何 人 ， 若 在 王 以 外 ， 或 向 神 或 向 人 求 甚 麽 ， 必 被 扔 在 狮 子 坑 中 。 王 不 是 在 这 禁 令 上 盖 了 玉 玺 麽 ？ 王 回 答 说 ： 实 有 这 事 ， 照 玛 代 和 波 斯 人 的 例 是 不 可 更 改 的 。

便去見王，提及王的禁令，說：「王啊，你不是簽署禁令，三十天內，任何人不得向王以外的神明或人禱告，違者必被扔進獅子坑嗎？」王說：「確有此事，按照瑪代人和波斯人的律，這禁令不可更改。」
