فَتَجَمَّعَ الْمُتَآمِرُونَ، وَوَجَدُوا دَانِيَالَ يَبْتَهِلُ وَيَتَضَرَّعُ إِلَى إِلَهِهِ.

Selvom Daniel vidste besked med den nye lov, gik han alligevel hjem og knælede, som han plejede, i det værelse ovenpå, hvor vinduerne stod åbne i retning af Jerusalem. Han blev ved med at bede og takke Gud tre gange dagligt, som han altid havde gjort.

Als Daniel davon erfuhr, ging er in sein Haus. Das obere Stockwerk hatte Fenster in Richtung Jerusalem, die offen standen. Hier kniete er nieder, betete zu seinem Gott und dankte ihm, wie er es auch sonst dreimal am Tag tat.

陰謀を企てた者たちがダニエルの家に押しかけてみると、神に哀願し、祈っているダニエルの姿を見つけました。

Toen Daniël hoorde dat deze wet was uitgevaardigd, ging hij naar huis. Zoals gewoonlijk knielde hij boven in zijn slaapkamer, waar hij open vensters in de richting van Jeruzalem had. Driemaal per dag ging hij daar in gebed en loofde zijn God. Ook nu week hij niet van deze gewoonte af.

แล้วคนเหล่านั้นรวมกลุ่มกันไปเฝ้าดูและพบดาเนียลอธิษฐานทูลวิงวอนขอความช่วยเหลือจากพระเจ้า
