Daniel 2:4

Then the Chaldeans said to the king in [b]Aramaic, “O king, live forever! Tell the dream to your servants, and we will declare the interpretation.”

Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation.

The fortunetellers, speaking in the Aramaic language, said, “Long live the king! Tell us the dream and we will interpret it.” 5-6 The king answered the fortunetellers, “This is my decree: If you can’t tell me both the dream itself and its interpretation, I’ll have you ripped to pieces, limb from limb, and your homes torn down. But if you tell me both the dream and its interpretation, I’ll lavish you with gifts and honors. So go to it: Tell me the dream and its interpretation.”

Then the Chaldeans spoke to the king in [i]Aramaic: “O king, live forever! Tell the dream to your servants, and we will declare the interpretation.”

Then those who studied the heavens answered the king. They spoke in Aramaic. They said, “King Nebuchadnezzar, may you live forever! Tell us what you dreamed. Then we’ll explain what it means.”

Then the astrologers answered the king,[c] “May the king live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will interpret it.”

فَأَجَابُوا بِالأَرَامِيَّةِ: «لِتَعِشْ إِلَى الأَبَدِ أَيُّهَا الْمَلِكُ. اسْرُدْ عَلَى عَبِيدِكَ الْحُلْمَ فَنُفَسِّرَهُ لَكَ».

„Deres Majestæt længe leve!” sagde de alle sammen på aramæisk.[a] „Fortæl os drømmens indhold, så skal vi nok forklare dig dens betydning.”

Da antworteten die Sterndeuter auf Aramäisch[a]: »Lang lebe der König! Erzähl uns, deinen ergebenen Dienern, den Traum, dann wollen wir ihn deuten!«

そこで占星学者たちは、アラム語で王に言いました。「まず、どんな夢かをお教えください。そうすれば、その意味を解き明かしてごらんに入れます。」

Toen antwoordden de astrologen hem: ‘Majesteit, vertel ons uw droom, dan zullen wij u de betekenis ervan uitleggen.’

Då svarade astrologerna kungen på arameiska[a]: ”O kung, må du leva för evigt! Tala om drömmen för oss, dina tjänare, så ska vi sedan förklara vad den betyder.”

占星家用亚兰话对王说：“愿王万岁！请将梦告诉仆人，仆人好解释梦的意思。”
