Daniel 12:8

As for me, I heard, but I did not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

“I heard all this plainly enough, but I didn’t understand it. So I asked, ‘Master, can you explain this to me?’ 9-10 “‘Go on about your business, Daniel,’ he said. ‘The message is confidential and under lock and key until the end, until things are about to be wrapped up. The populace will be washed clean and made like new. But the wicked will just keep on being wicked, without a clue about what is happening. Those who live wisely and well will understand what’s going on.’

As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the [j]outcome of these events?”

I heard what he said. But I didn’t understand it. So I asked, “My master, what will come of all this?”

I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”

I heard what he said, but I did not understand what he meant. So I asked, “How will all this finally end, my lord?”

فَسَمِعْتُ مَا قَالَهُ وَلَكِنَّنِي لَمْ أَفْهَمْ، فَسَأَلْتُ: «يَا سَيِّدِي مَا هِيَ آخِرُ هَذِهِ؟»

Jeg hørte, hvad han sagde, men forstod ikke, hvad han mente. Så spurgte jeg igen: „Herre, hvad skal der så ske bagefter?”

Ich hörte zwar, was der Engel sagte, aber ich konnte es nicht begreifen. Deshalb fragte ich: »Mein Herr, wie wird das Ende aussehen?«

»Aunque escuché lo que dijo ese hombre, no pude entenderlo, así que le pregunté: “Señor, ¿cuál es el fin de todo esto?”

J’entendis ces réponses sans les comprendre. C’est pourquoi je redemandai : Mon seigneur, quelle sera l’issue de tous ces événements ?

Wala ko naintiendihan ang iya sabat. Gani nagpamangkot ako sa iya, “Sir, ano gid bala ang mangin resulta sang sina nga mga hitabo?”

私はその人が言うことを聞いても、その意味を理解できませんでした。そこで、こう尋ねました。「恐れ入りますが、これはどんな結末になるのでしょうか。」

내가 그 말을 듣고도 이해할 수가 없어서 “내 주여, 이 모든 일의 결과가 어떻게 되겠습니까?” 하고 묻자

Ik hoorde wel wat hij zei, maar begreep niet wat hij bedoelde. Daarom vroeg ik: ‘Mijn heer, hoe zal het einde van deze dingen eruit zien?’

Eu ouvi, mas não compreendi. Por isso perguntei: “Meu senhor, qual será o resultado disso tudo?”

Eu am auzit, dar nu am înţeles, aşa că am întrebat:– Stăpâne[g], cum va fi sfârşitul acestor lucruri?

Jag hörde detta men förstod det inte, så jag frågade: ”Min herre, hur kommer alltsammans att sluta?”

ข้าพเจ้าได้ยินแต่ไม่เข้าใจจึงถามว่า “ท่านเจ้าข้า ทั้งหมดนี้จะลงเอยอย่างไร?”

我听见这话，却不明白，就问他：“我主啊，这些事的结局会怎样呢？”

我 听 见 这 话 ， 却 不 明 白 ， 就 说 ： 我 主 啊 ， 这 些 事 的 结 局 是 怎 样 呢 ？
