Daniel 12:4

But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the scroll until the end of time. Many will go back and forth and search anxiously [through the scroll], and knowledge [of the purpose of God as revealed by His prophets] will [greatly] increase.”

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

“‘This is a confidential report, Daniel, for your eyes and ears only. Keep it secret. Put the book under lock and key until the end. In the interim there is going to be a lot of frantic running around, trying to figure out what’s going on.’ 5-6 “As I, Daniel, took all this in, two figures appeared, one standing on this bank of the river and one on the other bank. One of them asked a third man who was dressed in linen and who straddled the river, ‘How long is this astonishing story to go on?’

أَمَّا أَنْتَ يَا دَانِيَالُ فَاكْتُمِ الْكَلامَ، وَاخْتِمْ عَلَى الْكِتَابِ إِلَى مِيعَادِ النِّهَايَةِ. وَكَثِيرُونَ يَطُوفُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ وَتَزْدَادُ الْمَعْرِفَةُ».

Når du er færdig med at nedskrive denne beretning, Daniel, skal du forsegle bogen, indtil tiden er inde. Mange vil rejse rundt i verden, og kundskaben vil blive stor.”
