Daniel 1:2

The Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles of the house of God; and he brought them into the land of [c]Shinar, to the house of his god, and brought the articles into the treasury of his god.

وَأَسْلَمَ الرَّبُّ إِلَيْهِ يَهُويَاقِيمَ مَلِكَ يَهُوذَا مَعَ بَعْضِ آنِيَةِ هَيْكَلِ اللهِ، فَحَمَلَهَا مَعَهُ إِلَى أَرْضِ بَابِلَ وَاحْتَفَظَ بِالآنِيَةِ فِي خِزَانَةِ مَعْبَدِ إِلَهِهِ.

Kortom, het moeten jongens zijn, geschikt om in het paleis dienst te doen.’

Herren överlämnade Jojakim, kungen av Juda, åt honom, liksom en del av föremålen i Guds hus. Han tog med sig dem till sin guds hus i Shinar[b] och förde dem till sin guds skattkammare.
