Amos 9:1

I saw [in a vision] the Lord standing at the altar, and He said,“Destroy the capitals (tops) of the pillars so that the thresholds will shake,And break them on the heads of all of the people!Then I will kill the rest of them with the sword;They will not have a fugitive who will get away,Or a survivor who will escape.

I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.

1-4 I saw my Master standing beside the altar at the shrine. He said:“Hit the tops of the shrine’s pillars, make the floor shake.The roof’s about to fall on the heads of the people, and whoever’s still alive, I’ll kill.No one will get away, no runaways will make it.If they dig their way down into the underworld, I’ll find them and bring them up.If they climb to the stars, I’ll find them and bring them down.If they hide out at the top of Mount Carmel, I’ll find them and bring them back.If they dive to the bottom of the ocean, I’ll send Dragon to swallow them up.If they’re captured alive by their enemies, I’ll send Sword to kill them.I’ve made up my mind to hurt them, not help them.” 5-6 My Master, God-of-the-Angel-Armies, touches the earth, a mere touch, and it trembles. The whole world goes into mourning.Earth swells like the Nile at flood stage; then the water subsides, like the great Nile of Egypt.God builds his palace—towers soaring high in the skies, foundations set on the rock-firm earth.He calls ocean waters and they come, then he ladles them out on the earth. God, your God, does all this.

Then the heavy stones at the base of the entrance will shake.Bring everything down on the heads of everyone there. I will kill with my swords those who are left alive.None of the Israelites will escape. None will get away.

Then I saw a vision of the Lord standing beside the altar. He said,“Strike the tops of the Temple columns, so that the foundation will shake.Bring down the roof on the heads of the people below.I will kill with the sword those who survive. No one will escape!

وَرَأَيْتُ السَّيِّدَ وَاقِفاً إِلَى جُوَارِ الْمَذْبَحِ قَائِلاً: «اضْرِبْ تِيجَانَ الأَعْمِدَةِ حَتَّى تَهْتَزَّ الْعَتَبَاتُ، وَحَطِّمْهَا عَلَى رُؤُوسِ جَمِيعِ الشَّعْبِ. وَمَنْ يَنْجُو مِنْهُمْ أُهْلِكُهُ بِالسَّيْفِ، فَلا يَهْرُبُ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ وَلا يُفْلِتُ مِنْهُمْ نَاجٍ.

Je vis le Seigneur debout sur l’autel,disant : Frappe le chapiteau |des colonnes du Templeet que les seuils en tremblent !Brise-les sur leur tête à tous !Ceux qui subsisteront, |je les abattrai par l’épée.Aucun d’eux ne pourra s’enfuir,aucun d’eux n’en réchappera.

Nagsiling si Amos, “Nakita ko ang Ginoo nga nagatindog sa may halaran kag nagsiling siya, ‘Lampusi ang ulo-ulo sang mga haligi sang templo agod marumpag ang atop[a] kag mahulugan ang mga tawo. Ang indi mapatay sa ila patyon ko sa inaway. Wala sing bisan isa sa ila nga makalikaw ukon makapalagyo.

Jag såg Herren stå bredvid altaret, och han sa: ”Slå till pelarhuvudena så att trösklarna skakar och allt rasar samman över dem som finns där. Dem som blir kvar ska jag döda med svärd. Ingen av dem ska kunna fly, ingen komma undan.

我看见主站在祭坛旁，祂说：“要击打柱顶，使殿的根基震动；要打碎柱顶，使殿宇坍塌压死众人。侥幸生还的，我要用刀剑杀掉，没有一个能逃脱，没有一个能幸免。

我看見主站在祭壇旁，祂說：「要擊打柱頂，使殿的根基震動；要打碎柱頂，使殿宇坍塌壓死眾人。僥倖生還的，我要用刀劍殺掉，沒有一個能逃脫，沒有一個能倖免。
