Amos 8:9

“It shall come about in that day,” says the Lord God,“That I shall cause the sun to go down at noon,And I shall darken the earth in broad daylight.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

“It will come about in that day,” declares the Lord God,“That I will make the sun go down at noonAnd make the earth dark in [k]broad daylight.

The Lord and King announces,“At that time I will make the sun go down at noon. The earth will become dark in the middle of the day.

“In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord,“I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight.

وَيَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ أَجْعَلُ الشَّمْسَ تَغْرُبُ عِنْدَ الظَّهِيرَةِ، وَأَغْمُرُ الأَرْضَ بِالظُّلْمَةِ فِي رَابِعَةِ النَّهَارِ.

På dommens dag vil solen forsvinde ved middagstid og mørket indhylle jorden midt på dagen.
