Amos 8:14

“Those who swear [their oaths] by the sin (guilt) of Samaria or Ashimah (a pagan goddess),Who say, ‘By the life of your god [the golden calf], O Dan!’And [swear], ‘By the life of the way of [idolatrous] Beersheba,’They shall fall and not rise again.”

They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

“As for those who swear by the [m]guilt of Samaria,Who say, ‘As your god lives, O Dan,’And, ‘As the way of Beersheba lives,’They will fall and not rise again.”

Some people make promises in the name of Samaria’s god. That god has led them astray.Others say, ‘People of Dan, you can be sure that your god is alive.’Still others say, ‘You can be sure that Beersheba’s god is alive.’But all these people will fall dead. They will never get up again.”

Those who swear by the sin of Samaria— who say, ‘As surely as your god lives, Dan,’ or, ‘As surely as the god[b] of Beersheba lives’— they will fall, never to rise again.”

Those who swear by the sin of Samaria – who say, “As surely as your god lives, Dan”, or, “As surely as the god[b] of Beersheba lives”– they will fall, never to rise again.’

And those who swear by the shameful idols of Samaria— who take oaths in the name of the god of Dan and make vows in the name of the god of Beersheba[d]—they will all fall down, never to rise again.”

أَمَّا الَّذِينَ يُقْسِمُونَ بِأَوْثَانِ السَّامِرَةِ قَائِلِينَ: حَيٌّ إِلَهُكَ يَا دَانُ، وَحَيٌّ مَعْبُودُ بِئْرِ سَبْعٍ. هَؤُلاءِ يَسْقُطُونَ وَلا يَنْهَضُونَ أَبَداً ثَانِيَةً».

og de, som dyrker afguderne i Samaria, Dan og Be’ersheba, vil falde for aldrig at rejse sig igen.”

Sie werden fallen und nicht mehr aufstehen, denn sie schwören bei dem widerlichen Götzen von Samaria und bekräftigen ihren Eid mit den Worten: ›So wahr dein Gott lebt, Heiligtum in Dan!‹ oder: ›So wahr die Wallfahrt nach Beerscheba uns Gottes Segen sichert!‹[d]«

Os que adoram ídolos em Samaria, Dan e Berseba cairão e nunca mais se levantarão.”
