Acts 25:9

But Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, answered Paul, “[a]Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial there in my presence [before the Jewish Sanhedrin] on these charges?”

But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?

Festus, though, wanted to get on the good side of the Jews and so said, “How would you like to go up to Jerusalem, and let me conduct your trial there?” 10-11 Paul answered, “I’m standing at this moment before Caesar’s bar of justice, where I have a perfect right to stand. And I’m going to keep standing here. I’ve done nothing wrong to the Jews, and you know it as well as I do. If I’ve committed a crime and deserve death, name the day. I can face it. But if there’s nothing to their accusations—and you know there isn’t—nobody can force me to go along with their nonsense. We’ve fooled around here long enough. I appeal to Caesar.”

But Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, answered Paul and said, “Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and [g]stand trial before me on these charges?”

But Festus wanted to do the Jews a favor. So he said to Paul, “Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem? Are you willing to go on trial there? Are you willing to face these charges in my court?”

وَمَعَ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ أَرَادَ فَسْتُوسُ أَنْ يَكْسِبَ رِضَى الْيَهُودِ، فَسَأَلَ بُولُسَ: «هَلْ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَذْهَبَ إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ حَيْثُ تَجْرِي مُحَاكَمَتُكَ بِحُضُورِي عَلَى هَذِهِ التُّهَمِ؟»

Tungod kay gusto usab ni Festus nga magustohan siya sa mga Judio gipangutana niya si Pablo, “Gusto mo ba nga moadto sa Jerusalem ug didto ko husayon kining imong kaso?”

Festus chtěl židům ukázat dobrou vůli, a tak Pavlovi navrhl: „Jsi ochoten postavit se v Jeruzalémě před soud, kterému bych předsedal?“

Festus ville gerne stå sig godt med jøderne, så han spurgte Paulus: „Er du villig til at tage til Jerusalem, så jeg kan afgøre sagen der?”

Festus wollte den Juden einen Gefallen tun und fragte Paulus: »Bist du damit einverstanden, dass wir deinen Prozess unter meinem Vorsitz in Jerusalem weiterführen?«

אולם פסטוס, שרצה מאוד למצוא-חן בעיני היהודים, פנה אליו ושאל: "האם אתה מוכן לעלות לירושלים ולהישפט שם לפני?""לא!", השיב פולוס. "בשום אופן לא. אני עומד בתוקף על זכותי לעמוד לדין לפני כס הקיסר! אתה יודע היטב שאיני אשם. אם ביצעתי פשע שדינו מוות - איני מבקש רחמים או חנינה. אולם אם אני חף מפשע - לאף אחד אין רשות להסגיר אותי לידי אנשים אלה כדי שירצחו אותי. ברצוני לערער לפני הקיסר!"

Allora Festo, per entrare nelle grazie dei Giudei, chiese a Paolo: «Accetti di andare a Gerusalemme? Per queste accuse potresti essere processato là in mia presenza…» 10-11 Ma Paolo rispose: «No, anzi, chiedo il privilegio di essere ascoltato dallʼimperatore stesso! Voi sapete molto bene che non sono colpevole. Se ho fatto qualche cosa che merita la morte, non sarò io a tirarmi indietro! Ma se sono innocente, né tu, né nessun altro avete il diritto di consegnarmi a costoro che mi vogliono morto. Mʼappello a Cesare!»

そこでフェストは、ユダヤ人の歓心を買おうとして、パウロに尋ねました。「どうだ、エルサレムで裁判を受ける気はないか。もちろん、私の前でだが。」 10-11 「それよりも、ローマ皇帝に上訴する権利を要求いたします。私が無実であることは、あなた様もご存じのはずです。もし、何か死刑にあたるようなことをしているのなら、逃げも隠れもいたしません。しかし、私は潔白でございます。だれにも、私をこの人たちの手に渡して殺させる権利はありません。私はカイザルに上訴いたします。」

베스도는 유대인들의 호감을 사려고 “네가 예루살렘으로 올라가서 이 사건에 대하여 내 앞에서 재판을 받겠느냐?” 하고 물었다.

Da spurte Festus, som ville holde seg til venns med jødene: ”Er du villig til å reise til Jerusalem og la deg bli dømt av meg der oppe?”

Însă Festus, vrând să câştige favoarea iudeilor, l-a întrebat pe Pavel:– Vrei să te sui la Ierusalim şi să fii judecat acolo pentru aceste lucruri înaintea mea?

Festus sa chcel zapáčiť Židom, preto navrhol Pavlovi, aby sa súd konal v Jeruzaleme.

เฟสทัสอยากเอาใจพวกยิวจึงกล่าวกับเปาโลว่า “เจ้าเต็มใจจะขึ้นไปกรุงเยรูซาเล็มเพื่อสู้คดีตามข้อกล่าวหาเหล่านี้ต่อหน้าเราที่นั่นหรือไม่?”

非斯都为了讨好犹太人，就对保罗说：“你是否愿意回耶路撒冷接受我的审讯？”
